A podcast I listened to talked about the colours in the game having an association with areas of play. Red: Battle area Blue: Hand Yellow: Security Green: Raising area (though it has been a few sets since it interacted with it) Black: Deck (Plays cards from deck more than any other colour) Purple: Trash

A video going over how combinations of two colours work out could be cool? I don't know too much about the game, but I saw Mastemon as a Yellow/Purple deck. I don't know if thats the type of thing that is interesting enough to explain, but I know in other card games with colour systems, the identity of combined colours can be very interesting?

Dual color decks are pretty much just two color identities mashed together. Any uniqueness they have is due to the archetype, not the colors.

Excited to see more content from ya~ A topic I would like covered is a playstyle breakdown akin to your Starter Deck video but for the current meta decks. I find videos of people talking about meta decks all the time, but most of the time its under the assumption you generally know how they play already.

I've heard about Digimon TCG for a while, but suddenly KZbin recommended me more videos (including this one) am I'm interested into playing it. Unfortunately there's no LGS that supports or sells Digimon cards and there' no Online simulator like Master Duel or Magic Arena, so I'll probably have to wait a little longer. Meanwhile I'll download the turotial app and maybe buy some card for collection

I know this is super niche. But white Digimon can be used to fuel off color option cards. I am assuming you were speaking in the sense of X antibody, not needing a white source to use its effect because of its alternate condition. However there is a few other white option cards. For example. X program. This card also has an alt condition. However it can be used with white Digimon in play.

While Purple's main form of hard removal targets stuff based on level, it also has several cards that target unsuspended digimon instead. Both forms of removal are kinda hot garbage when compared to everything else, sadly

I have a question on colours,what stops me from including a blue tamer or blue option in a full black deck?(for example)

Nothing really. The options don't work if you don't have a blue digimon or tamer, but you can absolutely add them to a black deck if you want. It's more about ratios in your deck. So do you have enough blue cards in your deck? So that when you draw into a blue option card, it's not useless in your hand because you can't play it

Man, I really wish for more White Based Decks, but unfortunetly, its the worst color due to not having generic supports, like the Memory Boost cards. I hope we get more Eosmon support, since the new Morphomon didn't did enough to make the Archtype more powerful, especially due to the Deck's most obvious weakness. Hard Play Digimons and not generate memory to do this with consistency.

I got a question my Omnimon Alter-B (EXE4-073 sec) requires a lv.6 Black Digimon Costing 5 memory, but right before the effects it says Digivolve: 2 from Lv.7 w/ [Omnimon] in name. Does that means I can use a Lv.7 Omnimon (BT5-086 sr) to digivolve it to Omnimon Alter-B (EXE4-073 sec)? I am asking because one is a black card and the other is a white card. So I don't know if it works.

Yep, anything in the black box is considered a special evolution requirement and it lets you ignore the normal evolution requirements. In the case of Alter-B it can digivolve over any level 7 with Omnimon it its name, regardless of color.

This for some reason gets me twisted all the time; let's say I have a red deck with no purple digimons on it, does that mean I can't use purple options or tamers at all? The usage rulings don't make too much sense to me as a new player

No, there is nothing stopping you from using whatever color cards you want in your deck. However you wouldn't want to use purple digimon in an all red deck because they won't be able to digivolve into or from red digimon (usually), nor will they count as a color source for your red option cards.

If you have cool purple digimon and/or tamers that you want to play in your red deck, absolutely do so! The only card type that is dependent on colour are option cards. If you want to run purple options in your red deck you need either a purple digimon or a purple tamer to be able to play the option from your hand. But despite that, nothing in the rules is stopping you from adding purple options cards and nothing else. But you then can only activate those options if your opponent reveals them in your security stack.

Nothing special, they just count as both colors. Two color option cards need both of their color requirement to be met in order to use them.

Not yet... kind of. We don't have a ton of information but BT14 will introduce "counter" cards when can be played on the opponent's turn. As far as we know they don't straight up negate things, rather they can delete digimon, strip their sources, recover, etc to help you survive the turn. But we don't know everything right now, have to wait for the set to spoil and the rule changes to be solidified.
