Well, Luffy is fighting against the entire world...and tbh it seems like he doesn't care about being a Yonko cuz he wants to be even above them and somehow in the process, the WG is gonna fall meaning there will be no balance...things will go into chaos without any organization keeping a check on powerful pirates cuz we know that not every pirate is like Luffy so most probably just like every other faction the Yonkos are gonna be no more and after becoming the pirate king Luffy will eventually set certain events into action resulting in world peace and every race living in harmony with each other...(maybe even King's race)...But hey that's just my crazy headcanon XD

I think a big thing to remember is that the term for this group of pirates isn't really "yonkou", more just "kou", or "the emporers". There've happened to be 4 throughout the present storyline so far, so it's "yonkou", but up until just a few years prior, and probably since the coining of the term to begin with as far as we know, it actually would've been the "sankou" or three emporers, WB, big mom and kaidou, these 3 mega-powerhouses roughly equal in strength and influence from the remnants of Rocks' crew. I think it's highly likely that we go back to sankou after this arc, with it just being Luffy, Shanks and BB, as much as I'd love Kidd or Law to get an emporer position someday, and as much as I'd love Katakuri to take over for BM I don't think he's quite on that level yet and her territory will probably scatter and weaken greatly once she's defeated, same with Yamato or King after Kaidou's gone, 99% of the beast pirates will probably just go back to where they originally came from.

I predict that the next 4 Yonko will be the 4 pirates that Ace referred to when talking to Yamato with one possible exception. Those 4 being Kidd, Law, Bege, and Cavendish. The only exception is Cavendish, in which I think the 4th Yonko instead will be of course Buggy. Not only would it be funny because Cavendish would be pissed about not being popular enough to be a Yonko but Buggy being a Yonko by the end of the series would indeed be amazing and I think it is very likely.

i like to go back to when i first saw the ending of the campaign for Pirate Warriors 4. though it is non-canon, i always assume either the game takes ideas that Oda might be planting for future ideas (like in PW2 where Blackbeard and Moria team up being highly possible now in the series) like how at the end of the game only Wano story, Smoker talks to someone on a Den Den Mushi about what happened in Wano with the fight with Kaido and he talks about how it would be an issue if anyone from the Worst Generation became a Yonko. it's not too farfetched to think of this as a normal reader, but it's always fascinating when the games seem to give hints to future events.

I still believe that by the end of the arc, Law will be revealed to be an agent of SWORD. With Kaido defeated and the war he was trying to initiate negated, Law's mission is successfully completed. He then becomes a frenemy along with Colby, Smoker, Garp, etc.. That leaves Luffy and Kid as the two most powerful captains to fill Big Mom and Kaido's spot. Kid may receive a big boost from Wano, as I could see Hawkins joining him (if he is alive), along with some remnants of broken pirate fleets that Kaido subjugated. After that, I agree that the Yonko system will desolve pretty quickly. Probably just after Luffy's reunion with Shanks. If it doesn't, then I also agree that Katakuri would be a logical 4th choice. It will take time for him to deal with Perosperrow, and stabilize things on totland.

If Hawkins join Law and maybe X Drake might change his morales then Law could replace Black beard cuz tbh I think Blackbeard won’t survive to be a yonko he might either die or maybe just disappear and go into hiding . So that leaves that spot open for Law so it would be Law , Kid , Luffy and Katakuri but... I also think Luffy if he’s pirate king I think he’ll just be on a dif level. For ex. 4 yonkos and Luffy would be on his own level/position as pirate king. So it could also be Law , kid , Blackbeard and Katakuri and then Luffy as pirate king or maybe just a pirate king and no yonko system anymore.

I dont think law or kidd will surpass blackbeard. Black beard has atleast 2 broken devil fruits, law and kidd have 1. even when comparing their crew members black beard pirates are far superior compared to their crews. We hardly know 2-3 crew members from law and kidd's crew who flash out the most. While every member of blackbeard pirates are known and all of them are pretty strong. As the story is projected so far, i think luffy and blackbeard will have the 2 strongest pirate crews end game, Where luffy will surpass blackbeard.

@@lemonkun3699 I think law has potential I have a theory on hawkings and x drake joining law plus other ppl who would match but with kid he also has potential as yonko he has the will and the ability to be one. It’s just he doesn’t have the crew same as law. I honestly wish law had more going for him in terms of crew cuz law is just an amazing leader and has hella bright future if he has the resources.

Kids will, will never be broken lol (this was shown after Kaido brutally was torturing him together with the rest of his crew and Kaido still couldnt break kids will), Kid fought 3 out of 4 Yonkos (strongest pirates in the seas) and after his losses he never bowed to them, nor he worked for them. He has a conquerors haki, and his will is one of the strongest in the entire series (together with Luffy). He has proven and shown to us that he wont stop at anyone or anything until he finds the One Piece which is his goal.

Regarding Blackbeard and Marco. I can see a scenario when Luffy and Blackbeard finally clash and we get a flashback from Wano where Marco tells Luffy about Blackbeards "strange/odd" body as he pointed out in Marineford. Maybe after Luffy gets his first serious hit on Blackbeard and Blackbeard wonders how and why and we're getting a flashback of Marco talking to Luffy.

We cannot exclude Law from this solely based on his crew when it comes to being a Top Tier pirate in the end for the mere fact that as per chapters 965-966 Whitebeard had no notable 1st Commander or 2nd Commander that directly countered Rayleigh & Gabban before Oden joined his crew and yet was still one of Roger’s rivals at the time. Marco and the rest were very young when Oden joined and that was the same Whitebeard that was one of the top pirates in the world along with Roger & Shiki at the time also he had already had multiple battles with Roger before their fight in 966. A crew is definitely important to a pirate but that is not a reason to count Law out because he does not have a Zoro or Killer on his crew. He’s made it this far for a reason.

Ten years after the main storyline: Kid, Law, Katakuri and probably Buggy :D (he's great in finding allies, Weevil possibly) The Yonko system was not created. There's a place in the world where very powerful pirates are essentially ruling the seas, and that's not going to cease when the WG is gone. Law might be joined by Hawkins and maybe Marco as both might have some kind of physician bond :D

Both Kidd and Luffy have one other Supernova on their crew. Law is usually shown alongside them. We've seen Law recruit someone before at Sabaody. What if he were to do it again and recruits one of the other Supernova to his side. Someone like Drake, Hawkins, Bunny, or Uruge. If it were to happen it would put him in a similar spot to the other two.

I think a good runner-up for the position is Crocodile. I'm not sure what Oda is going to do with his character and his appearance in the New World. I'm also aware his strength is probably not up to par with the other mentioned characters although he has been back in the New World for the past two years. I always thought his demeanor was perfect for it; he's used to commanding a small army of men. He had a pseudo-commander hierarchy with the officer agents in his organization and he hates working under other people. Him and Enel (even though Enel isn't a pirate) would be interesting "what if" stories.
