Just to clarify around 25:12 "and she's scared of blood" I don't think that's quite correct. She became scared of blood because of that moment traumatizing her so it's like blood gives her that flashback of being covered by Dan's blood. If she had been scared of blood before she wouldn't have been able to be such a BOSS medical ninja. She was already the greatest of her time but still couldn't save him.

You CAN re-summon defeated Summons. A summoning jutsu is just a Space-Time Technique. You’re just transferring the creature from wherever it’s at, to you. The creature can also release the summoning themselves and they’ll be teleported back to wherever they were. It’s just a technique to move the creature to you so yes you can summon a defeated creature but there would be no point.
