Don't particularly like 1600 no longer gives you a tier piece but instead just adds a charge to the Catalyst. I suppose it does do away with skipping out on the limitations applied by conquest cap and removes the ability for higher rated players to inflate their power level over new players. Idk, maybe it's just kind of a net neutral.

As a mage main who completed everything on season 1 mythic plus I don’t think this was a nerf overall, it just tuned the rotation for arcane and changes frost mage profile, I still think mage will be at the same place where it was before

@ yes because sometimes you would want to have nether precision and other modifiers up to maximum arcane barrage damage, and that would increase barrage damage, yes, but you would only have 1 arcane blast to consume the charge after (which is why you usually does this when you already have another missiles up or right before entering an Magi spark window), and this decision making usually just raises the ceiling for no reason other than 10% increased damage for barrage sometimes, it will make consuming the missiles charges harder (since it’s only consumed by blasts now) but I think is a good change moving forward, the rotation is less convoluted this way

its sounds like they are nerfing spellslinger to make sunfury viable, but like, all the changes they are doing for arcane is just lame. i haven't touched my mage since the first month or two of the expansion because they keep making it less and less fun because they can't decide how they want arcane mage to play
