The big problem about being a content creator is that you have no business to back you up with insurance and stuff because you are pretty much follow the laws of an "individual businessman". Therefore is it far from easy to gain a mortgage when it comes to huge investments as buying a house. I know another youtuber who is in a similar situation as they were looking for a bigger place so that both him and his wife can work on their channels without being disturbed by sounds. Luckily did they find a renting house a few months back and so far it's going well.

When my mother paid off her mortgage earlier this year she gave me the advice that I'll share with you, which is that if you can, you should pay a little bit more of your mortgage than what you have to. A tenner here or there may not seem special, but if you ever get into a position where it will be difficult to pay, then you won't have to worry.
