Honestly when they said they broke up back then, I couldn't believe it and was devastated. Hearing my favourite couple on KZbin breakup , and also watching so many of Spen and Alex vids added more sadness. Of course I know they got their reasons, but seeing them breakup was so heartbreaking to me. I was so happy and glad that moment I saw Alex posted a pic her and Spen back together! I see an awful lot of my past relationship in you two. I'm 21 and was with my girlfriend from the age of 12 - we literally grew up together. We'd grown as two completely different people though, and we both knew something just wasn't working anymore. Several other outside circumstances certainly came into play. She moved onto another fella within a month, so that avenue kinda looks dead. But that's fine, I've had a fantastic year since the breakup last summer. I've spent all my time focusing on my music this year - released an album with my band (Outland), with a new single coming out next month. Thank you for this video, it's helped me put my own situation into perspective. Perhaps my ex and I will end up back together one day, but for now I'm utilising my time alone.
