My Thoughts are what might happen in tns s9 are Kenzie and the New A-Troupe deal with the elite situation, Maya, Marcus, Presley and Winnie return back to the next step and get together with the New A-Troupe, Ozzy officially leaves the next step and becomes an estate agent and work full time with his uncle Tony, Eldon joins his girlfriend Thalia at Bartek's studio Wojdan Dance Academy, Sloane and LaTroy return back from Tour with Luther Brown twice more, LaTroy and Amy get back together once more instead of Henry, James and Giselle will get together in the show, James goes on a world tour with Amanda and Giselle, Daniel continues to be a contemporary choreographer to choreograph the New A-Troupe, mini series of tns s9 will appear, Cassidy dates Heath in the show, Michelle and Emily and Miss Kate return to the next step.

I had to stop watching season 8 because of the cringe. It feels like it is trying so hard to fit an 'inclusivity bill' or whatever. The acting is bad, the stories are boring and repetitive, the cast have no chemistry, and the characters are SO annoying (especially Ethan and Dylan) oh also the dancing is bad. The only character I like from the new A troupe is Jude but for some reason made herself an alternate even though she is the best dancer there?? It hurts me to write this because I don't like hating on things especially as the Next Step is one of my favourite shows. Ever since the OGs left after Internationals it hasn't been the same and I wish it would just end instead of dragging it out. Maybe it's because I grew up watching the originals and have witnessed it go downhill first hand so I am interested to know what other people's takes are. Sorry for the essay lol 😅

wait you spilled soooo hard, they sacrificed the talent of an a-troupe level team for the inclusivity bit of the show, and don’t get me wrong i love diversity and showing it in mainstream tv! but in a show about competitive dance at a nationals level, and then having certain dancers on the show (when they couldn’t rlly act as well) just annoyed me, dylan should’ve been cut i’m sorry.. their plotline at nationals was so 2014 disney channel i just cringed and skipped it, although i like daisy (she’s very versatile) and i feel like her duet with heath was the only redeeming part of season 8, but anyways i just wish they had gotten more TALENTED dancers from the same studio bc the chemistry and team element would’ve actually been there! i would’ve rather watched a season of ultra elite bc all of the dancers (minus grace) were all at CDC in real life
