Nice! A real step-up from JF's BAe 146. I loved the Honeywell "737 style" MCP. The cockpit seems to have the look and feel of the 737 classics (-300, etc). Should be fun to fly this one.

Just got mine today, discounted as I own the BAe already and I had some JF points, too - so I paid under 50,-€ for one of the best "packages" you can get for the MSFS (taking in account that you have 3 variants of the aircraft and all the 'not needed, but extremely nice to have' stuff). - I'll get my coffee freshly brewed and enjoy the onboard playlist for a moment, before I start my first flight in an Avro RJ. ☺

Currently enjoying piloting the 146 Professional, excited about getting the Avro RJ! I find getting the 146 and soon the RJ very easy from cold and dark to get go. Wish Just Flight would bring us a BAe Jetstream 31/41 one day. That SWISS livery is a beauty!

I remember this bird way back in fsx 😂 Crossair (after turned to SWISS) used this bird mostly for Zurich to London City flight service. If I remember correct this bird had no reverse trust at all🤔

Pretty excited for this one. I like shorter/regional flights as there's just as much to do as longer flights, but less time spent in the boring cruise phase. I also love the half steam half glass aesthetic. Apart from the Maddog, am I right in thinking this is the only other airliner in MSFS 2020 that has this type of cockpit so far? I can see me flying this as much or more than the A380. I'm also quite looking forward to JF's Fokker F710/100 as that is a similar generation of plane and also does those shorter flights.

I've been thinking about your question for a few minutes now but I think you are right and this is the only other airlines with this cockpit style. There are some GA aircraft (think Black Square), but that's it.

Very unique and beautiful plane. I got to ride on one in the states back around 2004 . When northwest airlines was still around (before delta merger). It was roomy and comfy in the Pax cabin and the engine sounds were most unique I've ever experienced. Hate to see them gone. They still operate any in Europe?

I think it’s only the British government that’s still flying them. I flew on a 146 (not even the Avro!) back in 2010 and it was the most cramped experience of my life 😂

I think it was used a lot on EKVG. Later, it got competition from a modified A319 (maybe it was A318, not sure). How things are at EKVG now, I don't know.

The RA Callouts sound a little different from the RJ videos I‘ve seen - do you know if that is also like an airline configuration thing? In the videos I usually heard the RA callouts that we also get on the 737 for example. That said: Looking forward to this little thing, especially with the ZRH scenery by MK coming 😍

I like the BAE 146 but I prefer the automation of the RJ, I dont have time to fly a 2 hour flight manually. Had some of my best aviation trips on the Avro RJ and I cant wait to get my hands on it.

Why do you fly BAE manually? It has a reliable AP, just no AT but you can stable it with TGT synch.

I thought we'd given you this answer previously, but maybe it was to someone else. So basically although Failures were never part of the original specs for this product so were never mentioned on the product page we were indeed aiming to add them post-release. Since then the failures were done for our 146 Professional but that extra time and effort was pretty much wasted and our return on investment for doing the work came to absolutely zero. So following that we abandoned, for now, getting failures added for the F28 too, it was deemed it simply wasn't worth the investment and instead we had the team assigned to and working on other projects. That's pretty much how things stand, never say never, the idea and plans are still on the table but aren't going to be worked on and implemented anytime soon I'm afraid. If that's completely your 146 experience and immersion levels then please get in touch and we'll get a refund sorted for you. That's about as much as we can say/offer.

I can only agree with JF’s position here. As much as I like failures on my plane, I believe barely anyone uses them. Look at the 146, which has them. I can’t find much content of them in action. Even on my PMDGs people barely watch the failure videos when compared to the normal a to b flights. Especially in a niche plane like the F28 I can really understand why they choose against adding the failures. Wondering how many people will watch RJ failure content.
