Yeah I personally really enjoyed the fact that in that whole sequence, there was peace. Beyond a few shots at Lenny's monologues, no one was shit talking. Lenny was earnestly trying to reach Wildflower out of genuine friendship and as you say, his conversation with Eugene was a wonderfully acted interaction, where tellingly; their teams never came up. It wasn't a Cardinals fan, talking to a Chiefs fan, it was just 2 people, having a conversation. Plus I think Lenny has read Eugene better than most.

This show and the AFC East and NFC East proves how good of an actor and writer Tom is. While the points of comedy usually land, he is able to tell a deeper story about flawed and broken characters that either are the identities of the teams or are broken because of their fandom. Something that could be related to obsession over an identity or fanbase. The old guy is a masterfully written character that on the exterior, acts tough in front of the others and doesn't respect them because of the fact that he has lost for so long and feels entitled to this success despite the fact that he is just a fan and that because they are good, means he is above others but is also broken because he is just trying to impress is grandson. Brec is a brilliant character because well, he might just be crazy. He tries to gain everybody's respect with threats and cruel actions and this here proves it. He has an obsession with gambling and winning and it is put on full display here. Also fuck Lewis and Diego for partially being responsible for Mac's death.

Mac after the depression hit shooed away the only person that treated him like a son and got murder, Damn son. Diego and Louis are trying to have a way to turn it all around and put the house into motion for thier plan. But they forgot that Breck is insane and is no liar. Eugene and Lenny friendship arc is really good. It almost makes me like the Chiefs... Almost. Breck continues to disappoint me as a Broncos fan. Mack didn't deserve to go out like that. Sure it's the 2nd half of the season and a quick and maybe painless way out is probably superior to what the Raiders will get otherwise... But man Breck, it's clear if anyone was to get voted out of the house it would be Gavin. I'm fully expecting after week 18 for Louis and Diego's schemes to be found out and they're kicked out, and ideally it coincides with both the Rams and Chargers not making the playoffs.
