Yes it might highlight a concern, but as our head coach. KOC , always does is ask the ”WHY”… understanding, the “WHY” is the most important second only to the quote “WHY NOT”… Also assessing teams from a division standpoint is huge, no matter whether it is the best division in football or the worst because all of these teams play each other twice and the value of these games within the division, and in the conference are so significant

He's gonna sling it on the run back across his body for the worst interception you've ever seen. He's gonna fit a dime into triple coverage for a walk-off touchdown. But it's fine. It's riveting football and you can absolutely win games this way. Brett Favre is a Hall of Famer. You can throw 20 interceptions in a season and walk away with a Super Bowl as long as you throw 50 touchdowns to complement it, and Love is absolutely capable of doing that.
@mattoleary8112 ай бұрын
Im kind of baffled you think the Lions achilles heel is 4 rushers. Like anyone who can get pressure without blitzing is gonna be great against any team. The entire Lions offense is built around the Oline tho, so teams just cant get pressure consistently against them without blitzing. I don't even expect Minny to blitz less than they have really. Last year Flores called blitz a shit load against goff and while Minny's defense is certainly more balanced than it was last year Flores is still calling the blitz happiest D in the league.
@BM-si2ei2 ай бұрын
Flo literally had no other option at that point in the season last year, between injuries and lack of talent/depth. Extremely interesting perspective on Love. Decision making hasn't been as good but he was maybe the best QB in the league against the blitz the back half of last year. Then to start the year they played off sight, then against the Vikings and Rams he was clearly still getting comfortable with the knee, In the Cardinals game (against a bad defense) he was pretty much perfect with the pick being because of a WR slip. The knee looked 100%. You guys see it as a dip in his play, I see it as a set of unlucky circumstances for his first three starts then at home fully healthy against the Cardinals he played one of the best games of his career. I could be wrong but I really don't see it as a low point in his play, I expect that he'll look really good for the rest of the season, including against the blitz.

I'm way less sold on the bears. Looking at the remaining schedule, i see one game im confident in a win from. If we say they bag the patriots and cardinals (the wild card in terms of difficulty) matchups, they still need at least one win from the commanders (oof but maybe if daniels is out or weakened), niners (oof but maybe injuries make it possible), and seahawks (who look humbled at the moment, but history says those recently humbled teams bounce back against bears teams... we'll see when the matchup comes in late December). This lions team is easily good enough to take two of two, the packers remain the unsolvable rivalry puzzle, likely going to take two of two, and the vikings look HOT. bears could easily go 0-6 in division. They have the hard part of the nfc west, and if (strong "if", mind you) they sneak 2 wins out of those remaining 3, they sit at 7, MAYBE 8 wins, and likely need to catch up to ten from division play alone. Realize that this bears team is still in improvement mode, and nowhere near their prove-it arc. I predicted at the draft they'd regress in wins, and then the schedule came out. I truly see no reason to backtrack right now. The way things look, they have to get 3+ wins in the division to make the dance, and it looks like, right now, they are not capable of that.

With his leg healthy, and seeing how he handled Arizona's blitz last week, I think we'll see a lot more of that Love moving forward this year
@t4d0WАй бұрын
@@eman22017 What is helped is the crazy balance with the two. When things go right its LaFleur getting it right and putting up numbers with a receiver group that is slowly finding their role. As much as Love invites some bad results off structure, the fact he is still a threat to create a positive play out of it is growth on his own right. If there is one group with the Packers that is *actually* killing their own team, look no further than the defense and the DC. Joe Barry set a very low standard with a talented Packers squad. Hafley isn't doing any better and is pretty replaceable at this point.

the Lions are 18th in the NFL in pressure percentage allowed against four man rushes. They've been an excellent run blocking unit this year, but average in pass pro. Goff has played very, very well and got them out of some jams.

Lions vs Vikings could be summed up to Kirby Joesph and Brian Branch vs Sam Darnold.And Goff vs Brian Flores .
@BM-si2ei2 ай бұрын
I think the Lions will have to prove that they can get any amount of meaningful pressure w/o Hutch. If they can't, it will not matter how good Joseph and Branch are. No coverage unit can overcome a lack of pressure, especially against the Vikings' WR corps.

Williams has the highest ceiling by far. Bears are looking to be the talk of this division for years to come.
@bobbydavis2335Ай бұрын
Definitely highest ceiling but JJ and Love seem to have the "sky" in sight as well and to be fair, Goff is already almost there it seems. This division will be a meat grinder for years, hopefully as with iron sharpens iron, it will only make us all better, good luck, I actually pull for lions on side, and kinda like the bears, love the players, but hate them damn Packers lol
@t4d0WАй бұрын
I'd argue Love is getting to his ceiling being pretty good out of structure *WHILE* he has one of the most creative play callers to help him in structure. Its a potent combination that will get better as the two continue their offensive mind-meld. Goff is nice but he helped with the most dynamic talents on offense in that NFC North. Best O-line, very dependable slot target and two absolute bruisers in the run game. If the deep passing gets more consistent then Ben Johnson has every tool in structure to generate scores. Vikings have KOC, arguably the best WR flanked by two very good receiver threats. Just depends if JJ is the long term QB solution. Bears still have more to prove even if their offense has woken up the past few weeks and Waldron's fraudulent has not been as apparent.
@user-yq1hv2ce3bАй бұрын
42:08 talking about Jordan love having a mini CLIFF?? He has 12 TDs in his first 4 games. Lowest passing yards is 224. Explosive offense especially on 1st down just how you mentioned for the Vikings. Too say he has a lot of dip on his chip is one thing but to say it’s a cliff is just hating. Your bias is showing and it’s hurting your credibility.

BK love you man. But do you really think the Vikings can rush 4 against the Lions Offense line and have success? Also this game will be on Monty and Gibbs, Goff just needs to manage this one.
@BootlegFootball2 ай бұрын
Personally yeah I think they can. Lions OL this year is 18th in pressure rate allowed against four man rushes.
@venod31342 ай бұрын
@BootlegFootball interesting.. I will say the only game the Lions lost was one in which Goff had over 30 attempts. I just don't see the Lions allowing for pressure to effect the game, they will just run the ball. I just don't think this game is on Goff.
