The NFL might STEAL an Eagles’ Draft Pick 😳

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the NFL is preparing to levy punishments against the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles for alleged tampering violations during the free agent signing of QB Kirk Cousins and RB Saquon Barkley. Schefter noted that the Falcons are expected to receive a bigger penalty than the Eagles but both teams could lose Draft picks in this week’s 2024 NFL Draft. Also, the Denver Broncos could be open for business with the #12 overall pick but hear why Howie Roseman is listening to everyone when it comes to deciding on who the Eagles should take.

The whole idea of tampering is bullshit, if college players can earn NIL money then pros should be allowed to talk to whoever they want to as soon as the new league year begins. Tampering only exists because owners don’t want to pay players even more when it’s a truly fair and competitive market. I personally do not like giving up picks like that. And thats alot. But if they view his talents that high, then do it. Assets are worthless if u can't use them to get exactly what u want vs settling on something. Sometimes, u jus cannot be cheap or budget minded. tampering with an assistant coach is way way way more serious than tampering with a player, and when the Cards tampered with Gannon last year, all we got was a 3rd round swap in return for that big injustice. So it would be whacked if the NFL took anything more than a 5th or 6th round pick from the Eagles for any tampering that may have happened with Barkley. The Giants didn't even want Barkley so it's even less of a thing.
