When I first watched Cooper, I had concerns just a week ago. He uses a zone based technique in man coverage. He looked a little stiff in the hips, his movement is a bit robotic but he can run. He's a great athlete. He has a nose for the ball, big physical and can tackle and score in the open field. I just think he has to make a big adjustment to play corner. His comfort will come in time. That's the issue, will he ever get the time to get comfortable and confident. I think he'll play nickle to safety. Once at safety, I don't think he'll make it back to corner.
@always.entertaining.people139616 күн бұрын
He might be too good at Safety if we’re being honest
@James-xx4kb16 күн бұрын

@Byronic1913416 күн бұрын
Fangio runs a zone based scheme which is why DeJean is a perfect fit. He’s not stiff or robotic at all I don’t know who you were watching, and yes he is one of the best athletes coming out the draft at CB in recent years based on RAS scores.

Birds don't need DeJawn to be a cornerback. He's going to get INTs as a safety. *Dejean and Shipley can return kickoffs & punt returns
@TruSigma71216 күн бұрын
The fact the DeJean was so highly touted and listed as top 3 of all corners kind of flies in the face of Foxworth’s “oppressed minority” argument. I personally don’t care what race a person is as long as they are the best we’ve got. Also, If he beats out the competition, so be it.. start him. Otherwise, let him incubate. I want to win.

@Antisatan777114 күн бұрын
Just like you’re crying now There’s no bias when it comes to sports except early in the years when they used to try keep to keep black people from sports but now may the best player win and the best player gets to play. If he doesn’t show up and show out all that gets thrown out the window.

@tonyrame754816 күн бұрын
Someone of his size and athleticism would be better to put in the middle of the field at Safety since he is fast and a powerful tackler bringing him down into the box for run support, CBs do not need to be versatile like a slot CB or the Safety position.
