Greatest NFL TV theme of all time. CBS was very stupid ditching this song. There's a reason Fox still has their theme after all these years, if it's good don't change it!Please bring this theme song back CBS!

Fox music sucks.. garbage.. reason they kept it is that they are too cheap to hire a composer for something new. CBS themes are by ES Posthumus and they are A++

This is vintage NFL with this theme. Pat Summerall and John Madden were excellent together. Brings back memories of watching Saints games on CBS every Sunday afternoon. When the NFL TV contracts are up for renewal again, I wish CBS would get back the NFC package and return to this theme and scrap the current theme.

One of the few advantages I had living in Pittsburgh since it was an AFC City, and most Steeler games were at 1, we almost always got the biggest late game on CBS and you always got to hear this along with Pat summerall and John Madden. Man those were the days

Imagine if CBS still has the NFC package for the NFL on CBS for 2009 season: Buck/Aikman/Oliver Nantz/Cross Lundquist/Fouts Ryan/Millen Stockton/Davis Brown/Lynch Myers/Tucker In my opinion, this is the best theme ever. Take me back to the days of Pat Summerall and John Madden, Greg Gumbel and Terry Bradshaw doing NFL Today pregame, halftime, and postgame shows, and more.

Back in these times, CBS would carry NFC matchup's,while NBC carry the AFC during the afternoons and TNT sports would carry the Sunday night national game lastly ABC with Monday night football. Long before Fox carried the NFL.
