Why does everyone think the Denver broncos already fixed their franchise?? What makes them any different from the Raiders or the Giants who also made the playoffs in recent years and then crashed and burned afterwards? They literally got exposed by the Buffalo bills as a team that can't stop the run. Doesn't have elite pass catchers and has a very limited quarterback who is 25 years old already and is probably hitting his ceiling Also, I want everyone to recognize that bonex threw about 12 or 13 touchdowns total against the Raiders, the carcass of the Chiefs who didn't show up the final week of the season and the Atlanta falcons. Quite literally those three teams gave him about 12 total touchdowns and if you watch those games you can see that those teams didn't want to be there and or were awful on defense. And that goes against literally everyone So why do you think that Bo nix is going to be elite?

I would say the major contributing factor to the post SB50 dark age was Pat Bowlen passing away from Alzheimer's. Really impacted the culture negatively and the Bowlen trust didn't have the competence for the ownership-by-committee approach. Now that there's real ownership again the team seems to be much tighter in the front office.

The Broncos won exactly two more game this year than last year (8-9 to 10-7) The 10th win, and a fortunate loss by another team, was needed for the Broncos to get into the playoffs. In fact, the extra win was due entirely to the Chiefs resting a dozen or more starters and not even trying. And, once in the playoffs to maybe the 3rd best team in the AFC, they got rolled. Fans will say it was an amazing year. Analysts might recall Denver's former QB on his new team made the playoffs also.

I think it’s about the difference in expectations. With Russel Wilson, people were expecting success. This year, they were expected to be a bottom 5 team in the league with a rookie quarterback and paying huge amounts of money for Russ to play for another team. Despite that, they managed to make the playoffs, which Russ couldn’t manage. While this season on the surface was not that much of an improvement, there is way more optimism in Denver going forward now that they won’t be saddled with the Russ’s dead cap hit.

Russel Wilson was being paid 250 million and was expected to elevate the team. He completely failed at that and still sucks at Pittsburg. Beating the Jets and Giants isn’t that impressive. The Steelers future is dark while the Broncos is bright. Also the Broncos controlled their destiny after the Colts win so no we didn’t need help from another team. Reminder Bo Nix led a game winning drive in arrowhead and lost because of a blocked field goal.

a loss wasn’t needed for the broncos to get in the playoffs actually. after the broncos beat the colts, all they had to do was win 1 more game & they were in no matter what & that went on for the final 3 weeks of the season. no, it was the bengals, dolphins & colts that were praying for a broncos loss not the other way around. all those teams could’ve only finished 9-8 at best & that’s just the facts.
