Look at how he knocked out the safety that tried to tackle him in the super bowl. Listen to how opposing players Von Miller, Peterson and others talk about him. Look at how the opposing team acted when he dislocated his knee. To command they kinda respect with his physical skills is really the total package. Apart from trying to do fancy throws when basic ones work he's close to the perfect QB. Even his turnover ratio is getting closer to Alex Smiths while still taking shots and making throws in right windows

I will admit that Patrick Mahomes had an easier route through the playoffs. Tennessee and Houston were 10&6 and 9&7. The difference is hes a third down quarterback that thrives under pressure while redefining the position. He not a pocket guy. Hes not a scrambler that doesn't read development on the field. The biggest criticism I would give Mahomes is he creates too much. He never gives up on a play. When perfectionists mess up they are completely out of zone.

I was working security for the chiefs when we were scouting QBs and Andy was getting videos of Patrick. And only the Saints were a team to worry about in the draft. When Pat came in for a private workout, it was well known that John Dorsey wanted Deshaun Watson. Cause he was the more polished QB. Reid wanted Mahomes. After the private workout I looked at Dorsey and said, it's gonna be hard to say no on this guy now isn't it, lol. He said we will see. Inside the building while the draft happened and we got Mahomes, fans and everyone including us as security were stoked. Cause we hadn't drafted a QB in the first round in years. Plus us as security knew Reid had last word, so now we were wondering what hot head Dorsey was gonna do, well the got fired a few days later cause of wanting Watson. Not gonna say what went on in the draft room. Thats at full disclosure. I signed paperwork for a reason. But everyone was extremely happy and we got our money's worth

Dak made the playoff I think once.
