I understand going low, but you NEVER ever lead low when your teammate is going high at the knee, let alone of SIDE of it when the leg is planted! *That is a textbook way on how to NOT tackle!* This isn't just a casual "it's football" statement kind of injury. Fitzpatrick directly targeted the SIDE of the knee. He's been in the league for years now and he knows better. That is the definition of a dirty play, REGARDLESS if it was intentional.

Watch the replay Minkah Fitzpatrick #39 went low and leg hunting. Too many injuries by this technique. NFL should ban it. That's not a tackle just a dirty play. NFL doesn't allow chop blocks they shouldn't allow CHOP TACKLES.

He's done. Got to change this rule where these players are allowed to go for the knee ridiculous make change where defenders tackle only shoulder first at thighs and above only. Not shoulders aiming for the knee It can be done if they enforce it just like how defenders have adjusted to the qbs way of tackling them last ten years and it has worked I just can't bilieve how the league has never protected the running back who is the most vulnerable to injury than a qb and this goes to recievers as well defenders should not be allowed to go shoulder first at the knees ridiculous

As a Mother, the very first thing I thought of was his Mother in Georgia seeing this happen to her son on MNF/National TV. What could she do? Who could she call immediately? Then yes, I did say a prayer for Chubb. I sincerely want him to be okay. This also really bothered me because he's probably the nicest player in the NFL. I mean, no one wants anyone to get hurt but this happened to Nick. That one player in the entire NFL that you sincerely want to have a Super Bowl ring.
