I can imagine how difficult it was to have that happen between you and JK. And how difficult it was to have him stay in the cage for so long. But you didn’t give up on him! Jamil, Wow that's a wlld story. I had a dog that attacked my husband because he disciplined my other dog. My husband grabbed the dog very forcefully and spanked him to show he was the boss. It didn't mean he didn't love both dogs. He loved them very much, but he needed to let him know not to ever attack him again. The dog never attacked him again. So I understand what you are saying about what you went through. The animals will take you for a fool and a pushover, if you don't show your own strength over them. With animals, they may need a trainer or for JK, he was caged for two years that was his training. In the US, they don't put the animals down that fast, they try to see if they can be trained first, if not they will put them down. JK only threaten Jamil. There were no complains from outsiders.

I don't know how I missed this. I was here when JK bit your finger and when he attacked you. Any other person would have given up. You sir worked so hard to build a new relationship and JK found a new respect for you. Anyone could see you were heartbroken when you had to leave him in the cage. No clothes, car rides. I think when you get an animal for a pet, it is for life not until they become troublesome.
