His lead was matched this night only by the great Leslie West. My favorite Steve Hunter lead is the intro to Sweet Jane on Rock and Roll Animal. God damn he could lay it down.

Blessings upon whoever posted this, those who KNOW, KNOW, Steve "THE DEACON" Hunter is simply one of the best of all time, he's worked with the "who's who" of modern music, and there's a REASON why! I consider myself lucky to have seen him back in the day, this is a fine illustration as to WHY he's held in such high regard! Thanks again from all true music fans for posting this. Oh, and a shout out to Peter Haycock from the Climax Blues Band also on this, I saw them open for RAINBOW on the "Rising" tour at the Starlight Ampitheatre in Burbank, California, and Climax Blues Band was one great opening act that night!

FUCK LOU! TRASH! I never liked HIM! Very over-rated! It was his Band members that were the real genus behind the junkie! Best song by Steve - & that's a very hard call as everything the Steve touches is beyond platinum! Lou never deserved any of the guys that made him. He's just a rock - they were the STARS!

Read and try hard to make this rotten brain do some work. Is clear to me i was writing with someone that thought like I did 7 years ago. Now out of the blue comes an idiot , referring you, making sure you understand. Look with attention and you'll see the conversation is not in order, also the other part comments are not here, why? Have no idea, now who are you to come cursing ,calling me drunk and so on without a reason ?
