I love the Witch Head and Casper suggestions on Halloween, though I can't image them either. I imaged the Tiger eye galaxy last year and it's a beaut! it's also known as the crocs eye galaxy and I hope to do it more justice at some point :)

Nice one. Great to have you back, hope you're well. I took a really bad image of the horse head last year but a lot in my set up has changed. Pier put into the garden, auto focuser, first dedicated cam, new scope, been able to capture some data of different objects over the last month and really hope to capture horse and flame again this year. Think I'm going to go all out for it this month and spent a lot of my clear nights gathering data for that and hopefully make an incredible image. On a different note, how comes you cannot see Orion? You're up north, no? I thought you could see Orion up near Glasgow/Edinburgh way.

Hi, I'm from a visual background but I am moving into deepsky AP. I would like to go mono. But with my portable set up, am I stuck with taking all my filter shots in one night session. Sounds difficult to do esp in the UK with the weather
