@@kirnpu It is sad but true nowadays. The time of movies and TV series entertaining us is mostly gone. Now Hollywood is way too concerned with realism, politically correctness and hypersensitivity. Nostalgia is something so many of us have to experience everyday of our lives. Fantastic choice! This 1972 t.v. movie later became the great Night Stalker t.v. series. In this movie the iconic reporter Kolchak is on the trail of a Vampire! By the way, Bodega Bay always seemed to me a place one might find a Vampire. I do remember a medieval book which does mention a certain Count Vincenzo Vandahlini. Oh well just a coincidence I guess. Saturday night don't miss....THE...NIGHT...STALKER!

This was a really good movie. It holds up over 50 years later. And these cheesy local horror film presentations from yesteryear are fab. I grew up in Minneapolis. Our version was a show called “Horror Incorporated”. During opening of show and after commercial breaks a sound effect of a horrified woman screaming was played. Around 1970 on a hot summer night, before most had A/C many windows were opened. A woman in our neighborhood heard the screaming from the TV and she called the police. There was an uproar, especially after they heard the screams following a commercial break. The knocked on doors at 2:00 am and finally someone figured it out. LMAO
