I love this movie. I especially enjoy the music and I watch it every year. I'm glad you highlighted Danny Elfman. His lyrics are really clever and are very much part of the story. I'm glad you reviewed it. Thanks.

I’m actually currently working on a Letterboxd review of this, so you came in just in the nick of time.

This is such a good movie. It's absolutely true that good claymation ages incredibly well. I might just have to see this in theaters. I've been wanting to go to the theater lately, but everything that I've been interested in has either turned out terrible or highly disappointing. It's a shame that I have to go back to a movie that came out when I was so young to see a great movie in theaters again.

I've been lucky to see this at the theater twice, once when it was released in 93 i think and when they did the 3D version some time during early 2000s.. this is dang near a perfect movie. Everyone involved should get their praises

Last year I saw this movie in the theatre for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Although this isn't one of my favorite animated movies. As a kid I saw it on TV and VHS.

2:53 Over Coraline? No way, Coraline is a modern classic imo, though this movie is still very good.

It's a great flick, but the adults with Jack and Sally tattoos, 'Nightmare' bedsheets, etc are always a red flag that im dealing with a middlebrow, 105 IQer who thinks posting in 'support of trans rights' makes them a modern Gandhi. I intentionally avoid such types.

I've hated this movie since childhood because of the abysmal music. I listen to every major genre of music, from Bach to dubstep, and the music in this musical makes me cringe. It's awful.

There's a movie genre called musicals that you might stay away from then

The music is amazing and you should feel bad.

@@LearningaboutMovies There’s no need to be patronizing. Musicals can be great. The music in The Nightmare Before Christmas is much worse than the average musical. Most of the songs are directionless and fleeting with excess tonal ambiguity. Regardless, I’m glad you enjoy the movie.
