They clean up in BBK every few years regarding homeless people sleeping on pavements or shop fronts but it only lasts a few months just like most places .No harm done. Just like they move food carts on in Pattaya but they come back. Good on them they have to make a living.

Looking forward to your Thailand vlogs. I will be in Thailand myself in 35 days. I can't wait, I will be there for 3 months, then a flight back to the UK for 11 days, then it's back to Thailand again for a further 3 months. The weather here is crap, and the cost of living is even worse, so 6 months in Thailand sounds perfect to me. Also, the quality of life in Thailand is far superior. Neil.

Crown Hotel BTS, hahaha. If you stay there, you’re very brave. I had to settle for it when I arrived back from Phuket a long time ago. Got in late, didn’t have a room booked and with everything booked up around there, I had no choice. The room I had looked like someone was killed in the bathtub. I can relate so much... I just got back today from a flying visit to Thailand with my girlfriend (I usually travel alone) On the 2nd day I had a cannabis infused IPA beer in Chinatown and then tried to get back to my hotel at 4.30/5pm on public transport. MRT to Sukhumvit, and walked up to Phrom Phong!!! In fucking rush hour! Needless to say, the missus was annoyed at me, my jeans were stuck to me, and it took me a while to get back out of bed and head back out afterwards. 😆

When you leave soi 8 and turn left to go up the stairs to the BTS, there's actually an elevator on the left just after rajas tailors that takes you to first and second floor straight after the massage shop literally 15 seconds as you turn left onto Sukhumvit. So you don't have to tackle those stairs with your heavy bags
