The Nightmare World of Gang Stalking

More than 10,000 people worldwide claim they're the victims of a vast organized surveillance effort designed to ruin their lives, a phenomenon known as "gang stalking." Mental health experts see gang stalking as a symptom of paranoia, but the self-identified victims who insist what they're experiencing is real have come together online and in support groups to share their stories.
VICE met up with a handful of Americans who claim their lives have been derailed by gang stalking to understand what serious consequences the phenomenon presents. Then we hear from Dr. Josh Bazell, one of many physicians who believes the victims of gang stalking are experiencing dangerous delusions that could be treated by mental health professionals.

Also a year ago, me and him had plans to move together and start a certain venture in a new city but out of the blue he just lost his mind and stopped talking to me so we never did it. It fucked me up bad because I unwisely left my job of 7 years to do this with him. I'm still pissed that he fucked me up but it all makes sense now that he told me about this gang stalking nonsense. Back then I just thought it was severe depression.

From maybe 17 to 21ish It consumed my thinking and my actions.. For me, the two things that brought me out of it were 1.) I took a class on critical analysis. That taught me how to test any information I was reading for validity and intention. And 2.) I started learning about psychology. Specifically how we humans have biases that make it difficult to see the truth sometimes. We are programmed to desire knowledge others don’t have. To think we are special. That’s why 80% of people think they’re in the top 50% of any skill/value.. But what I can say is, at least the people in this video, are suffering textbook symptoms of delusion. -Thinking the messages from “them” correspond with saying or thinking the wrong thing. -Talking about shape shifting reptilians -Does it pass the “Am I really that special” test? (In other words, is Joe Schmoe really worth the government spending several thousands of dollars a week just to annoy? What is Joe never even noticed their presence?) It’s a delusion because the world simply doesn’t revolve around people in this way. But we sometimes wish it did. -If they’re really after you, taking an antipsychotic pill shouldn’t make them stop showing up, should it??? But these people all resent the psychiatrist for messing with their worldview.

I live 20 minutes south of L.A.. I've lived in same house for 40 years. There are MULTIPLE helicopters that fly directly over a few times per week or more. They go from hospital to hospital or they are sheriff/ police, private... About 5 years ago a new neighbor moved in who thinks the helicopters are there for him. I keep trying to tell him they're ok, they've been flying over for decades now. I grow weed outdoor, if there was a problem they would have tried to bust me by now. Nothing gets through to this guy. He's the type that "knows it all" and the world revolves around him and he's also always thinking all his neighbours call the cops on him, etc... extreme paranoia. But there is a thing called "stingray" that the police use to monitor cell phone signals, so there is government snooping going on but not to the extent these ppl are saying

It's really bad. The amount of damage it can do to someone's mental health can make them so paranoid they get aggressive with anyone who so much as matches their description of their stalkers. I have a friend who has succumb to this collective craziness and its so sad. He was one of the kindest gentlest people I've ever known, I literally have seen him give his shirt, hoodie, and shoes to a homeless guy and spend the rest of the day barefoot in jeans happy as can be. @@210Boots Since high school onward she's always been odd. I can't pin it to a particular event. But it started really getting obvious in her thirties. And, lately (she is 42) it is out of control. She smokes marijuana heavily. From what I have read, studies indicate smoking pot makes symptoms of psychotic mental illness worse. I've smoked pot and I'm not necessarily against it. But, in the case of people with mental illness or people at risk for it I am suspicious it is contributing factor. It's possible she is using other drugs without my knowledge. Nothing would surprise me. It's really weird to wish this. But, I wish she would get picked up by the police and hospitalized by force. She is a huge risk to herself, the public, and she is living in absolute misery.

I feel like a large challenge for people living with such experiences and beliefs is that they interpret their beliefs as knowledge and fact whilst being closed to alternate possibilities, including the possibility that the way they process the world may be based on false beliefs. I feel like their ego is getting in the way of them challenging their own beliefs. In saying that, how people live, think and choose to believe in is their own choice to an extent (some of which is subconsious and harder to choose per say). Just consider the impact that your choice has on your wellbeing, as it seems that such beliefs are having a detrimental impact to many people thinking this way.

If these people are in fact mentally ill (and I believe they are), I'm not sure that leaving the city for somewhere less populated would do them any good. Imagine if they left to live in a cabin in the woods, under the assumption they will be isolated from human contact. Then one day, some innocent hunter or hiker goes strolling along their property in the distance, unaware that this delusional person is even watching them. These poor people would be absolutely convinced it is someone from the government, tracking their every step. Even if you leave Scientology, they don't do 99% of the stuff you see in the video. If you leave Scientology AND also speak out against Scientology (that's the big thing - not just leaving, but making them look bad) they might harass you or kill your dog... but they aren't flying helicopters over your house 24/7 or employing dozens or hundreds of people to "gangstalk" you, or any of the other insane things. Scientologists aren't reptile people either, and aren't invisible on camera. They can't magically evade cameras, break into your house, mess things up, and leave without being recorded like a "reptilian" supposedly can. Scientology likes to file frivolous lawsuits and make threatening phone calls - they aren't going to hire an army of people to stare at you for 30 years, even if you're Leah Remini.

Here i am watching this in may 2024 because a friend of mine has been screaming about this for a month. I wanted to at least look into what he's was talking about....he lives out in the woods..the boondocks, but helicopters have been landing next to his house (on film) blacked out SUVS parked filming him, (on film) and people filming him in his yard.... What is going on around him? Is he crazy? Are people doing stuff around his property? IDK🤷
