I am a Canon shooter with my R6ii and I have to say the new Z6iii seems to be a beast to compete right up there with the very best. No shortcomings in both stills and video. Nikon really did throw the kitchen and bathroom sink at this one.

Even the Z9 & Z8 is inconsistent in their AF. Despite stacked sensors. So don't expect any better with Z6 III. Nikon's AF are way below both its rivals. Period. However they have the widest selection of lenses for Wildlife

I have a sony a7s3 and a nikon z8...I don't know about your experience but I can say that Sony though has a good autofocus system but my Nikon Z8 beats my Sony A7s3 in that same segment in many situations..and even the video quality is absolutely similar except the fact that Sony allows you to shoot in Log while shooting 8 bit video but Nikon doesn't..and it doesn't bother me since I don't use 8 bit videos anymore..they are history by now..can't settle for anything less than 10 bit..and both shines in that dept.

On the cropping bit, I'd agree. But come on now, let's get real. Right now I'm looking at an A0 print against me wall, that was captured with a 16mp Nikon D7000 & an 18-105 kit lens. Don't tell me you can't shoot a landscape with 24mp. And for landscapes, you normally have time to frame accordingly so you don't end up having to crop

Z6 series is not supposed to be very megapixel focussed there is Z7 series for that. and if someone has Lightroom the raw picture can easily be enhanced…

With all due respect.. Aparupa Dey is a very subpar photogrpapher.. ever Since I saw her page on instagram I have wondered why Nikon even gave her the ambassador title.. There are so many great photographers out there who shoot with D7X00 and even the D5X00 and their 70-300 DX with some color correction and denoising and still get better images than what she does with herz9 and 600mm

Art is a subjective thing, and Photography is an art. You may like someone's profile and you may not like someone's profile. There is nothing wrong in that. But to call someone sub-par when he or she is not fitting into your test is not right. Nearly 1million people follows her and executive in Nikon are not blind to this. She points her hear and shoots. if you want me to get technical about the issues in her shots I can.. I am a naturalist and I've surveyed forests across India for all sorts of animals. I've been lucky enough to have met some of the best photographers in India as well. Some of them don't even have social media profiles. Every year 100s of people win very prestigious awards but most people hardly even know about these people. Rather they follow these ambassadors and social media reels posting poseurs..

Sorry Nikon, but at that price tag there is 800$ more for Z8 (in my country). 500$ less would be really a competition on the market. Z6III is better than A7-IV/R5 in 90% aspects, but for that price, people won't change their eco-systems, because it's too costly..

I often keep the collar just like she is holding just to make sure it pan smoothly as the collar would work as a pivot and it also makes the control ring on the Z lenses accessible. Perhaps she has customised something to the particular ring near the collar

Rich man's hobby. I had clicked very good bird photos with my Canon 1100D and 55-250 lens but I couldn't afford more expensive lenses and Cameras. Present day cameras do not produce good photographers as everything is done automatically by Camera. You just need money to buy expensive equipment.
