Ninja movies were always fun and Kosugi made the best of them. Revenge of the Ninja and Pray for Death are classics.
@johnnyguitar66393 жыл бұрын
True. They are the absolutely the best. Prey for death has the best story line.While Revenge has the best display of ninja weaponry. But the story line and the fight scenes aren't that great. I've heard that Keith was pretty much useless in that movie. And that Sho had to use one of his student for most of the fight scenes. BTw sho has his own channel on the tube. Were he talks about the ninja movies and the weapons they used.

These three movies, along with Pray for Death ( and also a Japanese movies series known as "Shinobi no mono" ) are the best and most realistic Ninja movies ever made. Ninja 3 the domination is a bit of make believe, about a dead guy who still plans his revenge from beyond the grave but the Ninjutsu techniques in the movie are are all authentic and the fighting in the movie are all real Ninja techniques, so it is a great Ninja movie! I have watched these Sho Kosugi Ninja movies thousands of times since my childhood in the 80's and seeing this clip here makes me wanna put it in DVD player and watch them all again! Sho Kosugi is a real Ninjutsu master. His techniques and body movements (Taijutsu) in the movies are authentic. Any Ninjutsu practitioner should recognise real Ninja techniques. I have studied Ninjutsu for 11 years and have the same martial arts fighting style. Almost all the other "Ninja" movies of the 80's are fake garbage, except for American Ninja 1(the story is almost very good and feal Ninja-ish, even though Micheal Dudikof is not a real Ninja). I wish another real Ninjutsu practitioner would start making real Ninja movies like these Sho Kosugi movies; movies that portray Ninjutsu as it really is, like Revenge of the Ninja. Sho Kosugi is my favourite actor and always will be. Only a Ninja can stop a Ninja!

Franco Nero was primarily known for Italian Westerns like Django. Thanks to Good Editing and Fight Choreography(and Doubles like Mike Stone), He was able to Portray a Ninja Master in this Movie.

@@hayashikato6576 interesting. I did watch it as a kid but now that I am older the movie looks so different and unfortunately Ninja movies won't make a comeback anytime soon. The Wachowski brothers tried. Unless make the movie The Ninja Warriors based on the 1987 arcade game. that would be interesting to see:)

You're forgetting Snake Eyes which is tied to the GI Joe Franchise. That also came out recently and failed.

A strong willed women? She was just as lousy actor as franco Nero. And the movie was horribly bad. Though I will admit to seeing it several times way back. Pray for death ,and revenge of the Ninja was waay better, Ninja 3 I give it a 4 out of 10
