It's quintessential dark academia media. Also, the soundtrack is incredible.

I also remember liking it but haven't seen it since the theater. And I think maybe I saw it with Tyson at the rundown theater in Fairview Heights? Maybe?

Being paid to collect stuff, is fun, but I can see where it could get dark really quick. I saw this and liked the concept, but it was bit too artsy for me towards the end. For me it was a three-tape score as I felt they could have done more with it. Joel trying to use social altruism as a reason for collecting a rare movie print is spot on. Fun fact, Joel and I attempted a summoning spell for Alyssa Milano and that failed, but it was worth a shot.

In hindsight, I’m reeeeeally glad that summoning spell didn’t work out. 🤣

I remember liking that one. Been probably the full 25yrs since I've seen it. Do remember the ending, so that's something. Have to revisit soon. Been on a mystery kick lately. Crooked house(2017) was a recent watch and I really enjoyed it. Very similar to Knives Out

Disregarding the cast and crew... I remember watching this with my nerdy occult friends in the 00s. It was interesting, especially the scenes with The Girl, but the antagonist really drank some idiot juice at the very end. That moment became an inside joke in our group to this day.
