for me as an expert in EVs in premium segment, NIO is the only Chinese EV that I truly respect and love to own. Design, customer approach and technology are totally global. design is European and Drive system is perfect. congratulation to NIO. BTW, I love the name " NIO" its sound very techy and European.

After reviewing your videos for the ES6, EC7, ES8 and the ET5, I think that NIO needs to do a facelift for the ES7 as well or simply allow upgrade options for the ES6 to match capability and features of the ES7.

It is beautiful but we need affordable electric cars. Chinese companies need to build factories here so we can avoid tarrifs. Even the ORA Funky Cat/Good Cat with the smallest battery and very slow charging is £33,000 Sterling in UK. It needs to be £19,900.

Yeah, if they could build highly automated factory in local then could bring down the price, especially to avoid many kinds of taxes. The ET5 probably is the most affordable model of NIO, and the NIO sub-brand ALPS will be more affordable.

Not many would build factories at a time when electricity prices are skyrocketing and industry is facing pressures. VW boss said if this persists then they could move production from Germany abroad

Yeah, the Smart Matrix LED Headlights with LiDAR is only equipped on EC7 & the all new ES8.

Hope it will be available there soon, but the Thai tariff seems a little bit high even there's a FTA. Hope the tax would be reduced for electric cars!
