Respect is a rare thing these days unfortunately. Combat sports is the one thing that makes everyone equal whether that be training hard or getting back up when you've been knocked down. No hard feelings after the fight too 🇭🇰🇬🇧

I'm 31 years old, I started boxing at the age of 28. The best thing that ever happened to me. A boost of self-confidence, great cardio, great new friends. Even men over 50 years of age come and start their adventure. It's never too late. "How much can you know about yourself if you've never had a fight?" Great sport.

"Boxing should be clean, and full of integrity and authenticity, and it's not at the moment." It's easy to say "If only we had more people like Frank in the highest levels of boxing, then it would be." Perhaps this is true. Maybe we don't have people like Frank at the top, but I think that we're perhaps more blessed that we have Frank at the bottom, helping those who really need the friendship, community and purpose that boxing provides. Thanks Frank for your decades of work, God bless you.

When listening to him and his passion for boxing brings me back to my childhood. It wasn't perfect, I never had a coach, but the part where he reflected on what a boxing bag was made of hit deep. Rocky the movie taught me simple running, shadow boxing, and push-ups and my school bag was my first gym. Left, right 100 times was my staple, then I watched old boxing clips, and then we had our own champions here in my country, Jimmy Thunder and David Tua, and then for me Oscar Delahoia. Love this clip.

My first ever boxing coach was more like a father or uncle to us and made sure we attended school and always said please thank you in the gym. Looking back I think he could see through us and knew some of us were having difficulties at home He was more of a life teacher than boxing coach I always remember him telling us what he earned from his first professional fight in the early 1900s-a goat, and he was terrified of it and sold it to pay his fare back from Dumbarton that night. Rip Charlie kerry I was never going to be a great fighter but it didn't matter to him or me and looking back I always wonder how many lives he changed and saved
