I "want" for nothing because I need nothing. I have no family, my own or otherwise. I never am lonely and tire easily listening to fairy tales about family, endless consumption of material stuff. I am not neglected or appreciated for my way of living. The experience of a great deal of loss occurred 2018/2019. I enjoy your content. I'm a cancer stellium in 8th, and sag sun in 1st, my NN aquarius conjunct juno. A lot has ended for me during this transit. It hasn't been easy, but it's surprising what does endure, within the depth of heart and soul.

Beautiful dissertation, Adam!!! Looking at the broader perspective of the feminine Capricorn and the south node, Saturn and Pluto, we can see the dissolution of the market place in its past form of shops and businesses. The death of the old way of doing business and the newness of consumer products being on the market through the internet's capacity to shop the world with a greater capacity for choices and getting the best deal possible. The death of the merchant class at a local level through the mega corporations such as the internet corporations. Capricorn-Cancer yoga, is the family going to market to do their shopping, but now its through their computers and the goods being delivered to their door. We are being released from the need to get into our autos, wasting fuel to shop. Since the year 2000 we have experienced the capacity to shop the world at very reasonable prices for goods and services we could have never dreamed obtaining at exceedingly reasonable and more competitive prices. I have Capricorn-Cancer yoga on my ascendant/descendent. I have seen Ketu affect relationships based upon a goods/services dissolve, freeing me from what I was locked into through my husband. Further, since I have basically been a "workhorse" for 54 years of marriage,, this past several months I have been released from various duties, of which my husband has finally taken over (he's been retired for 13 years and it is about time, thank the universe!). Saturn symbolism of the crow, black and death, my husband calls me "The Crow", one of my favorite birds. Since I retired from a career in the business world, I wear black because it is practical for doing work around the home and property, one of my favorite hues. Black is a hue of self-containment (the professors' robes, catholic nuns robes, and the attire of catholic priests, but too, mourning to a degree (the disciplines Saturn requires of us in order to receive what we want and need and the disciplines required of loss). Rahu can be the experiences of poisons and disease/ ill health, my husband and I have both experienced this effect through prescribed medications wherein we almost lost our lives. I have come to a greater understanding of the abuse of the medical community of such substances, especially with the "elderly" Though I am 72 (look between 45-50, no gray/grey hair), I am youthful and I see a regeneration of the "older" woman being more youthful, and the old paradigm of elderhood being reconstructed. Thank you for your thoughtful and thorough reconstruction of the meanings of Rahu and Ketu!!!

With my first house Cancer, I've already noticed a heightened awareness of when I am functioning from an inner locus of control (personal responsibility and self-empowerment) and when I am operating from an external locus of control (blaming externalities, giving up my power, attachment to outcome, projecting my Shadow). I'm guessing the South Node is a releasing of blaming, complaining, attachment to outcome and giving up my power and a movement toward (North Node in 1st house) personal responsibility and self-empowerment. I am totally embracing this shift.

"Hunger" is a great word. Hunger for happiness and feeling satisfied is my goal. In this search I confront others I attract, to help me experince the contrast to that goal, which becomes the motivation to move away from what is in opposition to my goal, without warring (Aries @ 90) without controlling (con of the troll guarding the bridge to what I desire - Saturn/capricorn @ 180 to Cancers desire to nurture my hunger with satisfaction). Libra at the other 90 to Cancer is teaching me to speak in the moment when Mother Feeling rises from root upwards and informs my heart. Wait too long to move has been my Libra tendency to vascilate - being a Libra, I'm often stunned into frozen disbelief. My goal is taking this transit of the nodes to worthily work on movement when the door opens and not lose myself in vascilating on what I FEEL I want to do - my opportunity moments. Cancer - the Feeling Food for thought - the opportunity of Cancer to Libra - the 90/9 desire to integrate, Thank you great perspective - food for thought. Marlena/Astrologer

I have silently struggled with my teachers interpretation of my Capricorn NN for so many of the reasons you mentioned. Great explanation of the current nodes and lessons that are right now and ahead. This is so relatable to current global social, political and economic times. Very down to earth and yet inspiring through your references. This is a period of internal changes and way of thinking specially with the influence of Pluto cutting the outgrown roots of unbalanced behaviors that we as a collective have outgrown. Yet again like Buddha mentions: “fear not the coming times for what is has always been the only change have been your perceptions”. And in order to grow (if we consider Darwin theory - evolution of species) we have to let go of the old and embrace our inner being to evolve and that means letting go of attachments and old skin and become a new version. It seems easy but it’s not. It’s comes with a deep consideration and some blue moments and maybe: why me moments. Like the hermit we have to dig deep and listen to the inner wisdom. Thank you will listen to your other videos on this.

That was amazing! I have felt conflicted by the western interpretation of the nodes as the path to resolution of past life karma by following the north node given eastern interpretation of Rahu as the insatiable appetite for more and felt that it was a trap to perceive the north node as the path toward spiritual evolution which is ultimately, I believe, the reason why we are here.

I'm looking forward to seeing what will unfold with the South Node conjunct Pluto, then Saturn, then Jupiter. When the South Node was conjunct Mars this past summer in my 8th house, my debt decreased significantly by favorable means I never could have predicted, new sources of income went directly toward paying off debt. It felt magical the way it unfolded.

Understanding of "going totally towards North Node"didn't come from Jeffrey Wolf Green the founder of Evolutionary Astrology. There is a misunderstanding that we just have to focus on the North Node. It is the same as we cannot focus totally on the future. In my opinion, NN is the dynamic of the psyche that needs to be applied to the understanding of the South Node. South Node is a comfort zone, a safe place we will always come back. And let's not forget about Evolutionary paradigm, we evolve by living in a different way that we are used to, we will always come back to the South Node realities, but we can evolve step by step, transforming the South Node with the "unknown yet" lessons of the North Node. Anyways, nice video!

Watching this at May 2021, it’s so true. I got real serious about getting married and having kids and all those things and then things fall apart... Not until a few days ago that I decided the kind of career I want to build. It’s a kind of liberation within the soul, with the South node in Sagg now. It’s interesting that my South node is in the 9th house in Aries and I just decided to go far away and have another degree.

Can you explain... My natal south node is in Cancer & north node is in Capricorn. So how does one interpret the transit of the nodes in this case when the transit north node in Cancer crosses a natal south node in Cancer (and same for Capricorn axis)???

Thanks Adam, this is very interesting. I've noticed that my North Node in Scorpio has been very problematic in terms of using it to "aim forward". Lately I'm becoming more aware of how it feels like a hungry ghost in many ways. Do you think it would be too simplistic to describe the nodal axis in the birth chart as being the way that we are double minded or split between our mind and body as signified by the severed head of the serpent? In this case the nodes might then indicate this split and where we need to focus to restore human balance rather than spiritual enlightenment or worldly fulfilment.
