The Non-League CHAMPIONS LEAGUE?! (The FENIX Trophy)

🌍 What if I told you that there was a non-league version of the Champions League? Well there is!
🏆 The FENIX Trophy was established back in 2021 by Italian club Brera Calcio.
🎤 In this video I take a look at the tournament, along with interviewing the founder, Leonardo Aleotti, and Paul Reed, chairman of Enfield Town FC, one of the teams competing this season.

Went to the final in Rimini, Italy last year with FC United... I've been to European finals, FA cup finals, league title victories, home & away with 'Big United' since 1986.... Rimini last year, was the greatest week of my footballing life... simply put, it was incredible!. FC United of Manchester = Trendsetting since 2005. 🇾🇪

Thomas, you have excelled yourself! 🥳 Tell me more about "xenos", which you described in terms of respect for other cultures. My distant memory of it, growing up in England a long time ago, is that it is used pejoratively, in the sense of alien, foreign, stranger. It's built into words like "xenophobic". So it's a surprise to me to see it in the name of the trophy, but I defer to your Greek DNA on this.

Fabulous video. The cost of the Champions League draw ceremony, like the Oscars or something, would pay for the flights for the teams! UEFA need to do more. And ‘xenos’ means foreign, but also a friend and guest.
