So true. She said that we would be together forever. No reason, no answers, no closure. She never told me there was an issue, she always acted extremely happy. Then boom, she dumped me with no notice or reason and refused to even discuss. After a year of NC I am at peace. My closure is that there was no closure.

You're correct. My husband died in my arms and I had so many "what ifs". I read this and it helped me. Take care everyone. "What happens is the only thing that could have happened. Nothing, but nothing, absolutely nothing that happens to us in our lives could have been otherwise. Not even the most insignificant detail. There is no such thing as: 'if I had done such a thing, such another would have happened…' No. What happened was the only thing that could have happened, and it had to have happened for us to learn that lesson and move forward. Each and every one of the situations that happen to us in our lives is perfect, even if our mind and our ego resist and do not want to accept it."

I think Clay was very close to his mother. So her passing really affects him. Not everyone has this special relationship with their mother. Clay, if you're reading this, know that you're lucky that you had an amazing mother that you still miss until today.

Hi Clay. I understand you had double narratives now. You talk about 2 types of losses. Loss by break up and loss by death. I think you heal yourself through this video as well. Just like a video diary. I think it's great that you show your vulnerability in these hard times. It's better than playing some roles. I think you give an example of how we accept our vulnerability.

its very weird i have currently lost the girl i love and am hopeful to get her back despite the whole entire deck of cards because stacked against me. But i was just chilling in my bed and watching these videos and all the sudden for the 1st time since the break up i had this weird feeling that she missed me idk why I don't know what caused it i haven't messaged her because I'm honestly more worried about messing up my chances also Shes in a rebound so idk she might just block me.

There are two things that helped me. However, I didn't listen to anyone and learned all too late. This is what I believe to be wisdom and you can get these things from the videos he puts down. Take any contact you get as a blessing if that is what you want. Be focused on your self improvement and take nothing they do as gospel. Don't worry about their relationships, their focus, their lives. You worry about your own life. Be a good listener and if you get blown off treat it like you would any other friend. Don't put up with it, and show them by not being a door mat. Be present, a good ear, and know if it is meant to be, you won't have to try that hard. When you have contact with them, make use of that 100%. Don't ever fall off your game. That means what you did that worked for your relationship to begin with. However, you akso have to think in terms of an upgrade. What would you have done if you kept involving? Don't overthink it. Snap out of chasing and be you. You had a life before and you can have a life now without them. That is what brings people together, not "making" something happen. And keep those eyes wide open. Things do happen for a reason. Work on your purpose. The fight to get to a better place happens with or without them. Finally, don't rely on advice too much. No one knows you better than you. Take each input as just data in an experment. It is up to you to form the educated conclusion. Beware of rebound. The worst thing is to end up right back in the same situation again. You been through a trauma, there is no hurry to healing. If there is, then you are a cold person who didn't feel to begin with. Look up the Madea "let them go" speech. It gives you all you need. Good luck. I have been where you are. This too shall pass...if you are open to it.
