A beautiful crisp winter morning here in Noosa with blue skies over low lying cloud. A light 5 to 7 knot southerly breeze blowing at the river mouth and a small rolling swell on the bar. Quite glassy in the bay. Birds working the bait schools just behind the surf line but no obvious pelagic activity. BOM forecast is for southerly winds 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 30 knots offshore in the late evening. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1 to 2 metres offshore south of Maroochydore by early evening. 1st Swell: Southerly around 1 metre. 2nd Swell: Easterly around 1 metre.
