The fight between Ancora losing and NS winning reminds me last year when CN whined after losing the merger with KCS at STB when they moreover were in favor of CP buying KCS as we know a year later, CPKC. Otherwise, great video!

Thank you! Ancora's overconfidence going into this actually reminded me of CN's overconfidence in their ability to scoop-up KCS quickly back in 2022. Of course, we all know how that turned out...

Honestly, thank god Ancora failed because NS would be absolutely doomed if they took over. They would’ve completely undone all the progress that Alan Shaw has made to leading NS on the right path, and he’s been doing very good as CEO so far. I’m not a political guy in the slightest, but I believe shareholders should keep their hands of Railroad business and let said railroads be run by ACTUAL railroaders.
