From everything you've told us here, if it becomes available in Canada, and at the price point described in this video, it would be a veritable answer to prayer. I live in a mountainous rural community that typically receives it fair share of snow, and the truck in your video would be ideal - I wouldn't have to load my 2WD van up in the winter to make it heavy enough to get around in winter. Side note: It's worth mentioning here that i recently looked into having my Chevy van upgraded to 4 WD. I was shocked by how much it would cost. The prices START at $20,000 Cdn - INSANE, especially for a vehicle that cost me less than $5,000 to purchase (used, but decent). The truck in your video is priced similarly to the cost of upgrading my old van, AND IT'S ELECTRIC! Thank you for keeping us up to date on the goings on of the electric vehicle market; I really appreciate what you do here!

500km is 310 miles for most of us listening. My 2018 M3 has a 75kw pack and originally had a 330 mile range. So if these numbers are true then they're getting extremely good efficiency out of a truck.

@paulc6766 Regardless, when you're running a KZbin channel you owe your audience both units of measure. Does it make sense for him to do the math once? Or for thousands of people to do it because he didn't? The metric system is way better. But the fact is that most of his viewers probably don't use that system.

That's what Ford is probably doing with that skunk work. We'll find out later of next year, hopefully fast charging is one of the highlights. Rivian could do that too but it's not in their plans at the moment.

You’re not updated. It’s already in Thailand. People have ordered one, bought one and running one, As of the moment I’m speaking. There are four models in Thailand, two models with use 2 Wheel drive and two models which using four-wheel-drive different battery size different and price from 899000 thb to 1299000 thb. These cars from what I understand are made in China. I live in an area in Rayong province of Thailand, where they are producing and starting factories like BYD, Aion and more. Since Japanese manufacturers in Thailand, have made the court here for a long time starting to be a race of unemployment, but we’ll see if the Chinese car manufacturers are coming to a replace that one more thing that is very important in this is automation, Aion in Thailand, and Rayong is from. I have heard quite automated factory, which means it will not create the amount of labor force that some might want. In Thailand the brand’s name is Riddara! FYI

Do you know if there are any extra local (Govt?) taxes which would indicate this may be even cheaper in countrues without EV prohibitive taxes?
@dallas6918 күн бұрын
We all need this. America Europe Africa China Australia Japan needs this! Right now the $120,000 Cyber Truck is out of reach for 99.9% of the general population. Only the ultra rich can afford a $120,000 EV Truck. Rivian DM $72,000 and Rivian loss per truck is $40,000 so that EV Truck should be $112,000 which is out of reach for Americans or the World. A general public EV truck $13,000 with optional battery TYPES and optional battery size. A EV with NaCl or LFP or NMC or LMgFP or SS battery type is the key to our EV future. We all need this.
@dallas6918 күн бұрын
EV battery types are changing advancing so fast EV companies must account for diffrent types of EV battery. That is the EV Today. NIO replace those AAs or AAAs EV battery is a joke. Maybe a Nuke Battery would work on a NIO design but not EV battery today.

Not sure that the resale on a $13,700 car will be all that worrying. Overall, Ev's are depreciating by about 48% in their first three years and ICE by 42%. That imbalance is because EV's are getting cheaper rapidly.
