Thank you, can' take all the credit of course, I'm not sure where the guy found this design, but it was a good one

You could paint that background white using a foam roller. Just roll in paint, then roll out some of the paint on a waste board and roll very "flatly" across the sign with almost no pressure. Works great, I never use Oramask

Beautiful carve. Came out great on the Pine. No Fuzzies either!! Good wood choice! Hope you don't mind if I copy for smaller gifts (if my hand recovers from surgery in time) , love it!! PS, good luck with the move & shop build. Hope it goes smoothly, don't overstretch your ticker!!

I noticed that you told someone that you seal before painting, sometimes. Is that based on the wood you use? Also, do you find that the spray paints bleed less than brush application? Thanks and as always, great work!

What type of airbrush paint are you using? I’m just starting to airbrush my signs. I have Createx transparent paint but it just doesn’t seem to cover that well. Or maybe I just need to layer it more.

Great job as always Brian. You seal the wood any before painting to make it easier when sanding?
@SmokeysCNCWoodworks3 жыл бұрын
Sometimes I seal, I didn't on this one....Thanks for watching!!

Brian this design and cut was beautiful! I'm new to woodworking so I'm still trying to figure out cut depths. What were the cut depths of the two bits you used? Thank you!

That sighn is great. Where did you get the design from? Excited to see some laser videos that will be fun. I had a hard time learning a laser program, and after using vetric and coming back to the laser it made a lot more sense. Hope the shop build makes it into some videos too. Would love to see how it turned out. Thanks for all the videos
