My three year old also likes to watch your binding of isaac videos. And he plays the game. Sometimes he can even get to the second floor, without help. It's crazy to watch him only shoot right and walk to the left of everything but still somehow survive.

Kinda wish they did the needy modules. Those can make the game so much harder even with fewer total modules. For those who aren't aware, needy modules activate every so often and you need to solve them quickly or you blow up.

I am still so confused about that card game. They keep saying "X has to win this card" but nobody explains what the hell "winning" a card even means. Higher number? Lower number? Exact same number that you're trying to win? Can anyone play that number? Why is it bad that Malf tried to play blue 7 after Apollo played blue 9? Why did Apollo say it's mathematically impossible to *not* win that blue 1? What's the benefit of showing off that a certain card is your lowest/highest/only card of that color? Why was Malf's green 2 worse than his green 7? What the heck are tricks?

For these Tabletop games, I always go watch the very first instance they play the game for this exact reason.

So you win a "trick" (which is a round of playing cards where each player plays one) by playing the highest number of the same color as the first card played. Once you win, all cards played during that round are given to you, but not placed in your hand. You've "won" those cards. If the mission card is among them, and you're the guy who needs to win it, that's victory. The team as a whole has the goal of ensuring the right guy wins the right cards, but with the added obstacle that you're not allowed to purposely throw a "trick" by playing the wrong color unless you have none of the correct color.

A thing I’ve recently begun thinking is that there are not really Golden Eras of the NLSS in a holistic sense, where every segment always lines up, but rather Golden Eras in the sense that there are games that are truly always great to watch. I feel this way about Goofball Goals, Quiplash to a degree, Duck Game, the social deduction games (though I do understand why they can’t come back), a few more that slip my mind. Seeing Keep Talking on the docket reminded me not only that it’s one of these, but it actually might be my favorite game that saw consistent play on the show for a time. Absolutely riveting stuff.

Left, right, hard drop, soft drop, rotate left, rotate right, hold. So 7 buttons. You need two rotations for different t spins as well as L, J, Z, and N spins. I spins rarely happen and aren't useful from a tactical perspective and while O spins technically exist, they don't serve any purpose in gameplay and are used more as a party trick.
