Nick wanting to change the culture of it being expected that people will say terrible things to other people online, especially entertainers/celebs, isn't a naive standpoint actually. It's a divine feminine (creative, expanding outward) standpoint because he is trying to improve the darkest parts of society. Ryan said it himself; just to look away as soon as you notice it's a negative comment is a practical approach. Keyword, practical. The divine masculine approach (stable, reconstructing within). That totally works too, and a balance of both is necessary, but you can't just look away from all the darkness that's going on around you. Some other people aren't as good at deflecting it as you, they are the victims that need to learn empowerment so they can empower themselves and deflect. I think Nick can relate to the idea of darkness easily and so he understands that the people leaving those hateful comments behind are also just a childish human in pain, only feeding more negativity into this world. He's saying we, the ones who are good at deflecting, should stand up and just take 5 seconds to reply to somebody who's spewing blatant hatred, or somebody who is the victim of hatred. I find myself doing this at times, it takes 5 seconds and I think it helps validate victims and empower them. I love Nick for what he said!

Темный Лес People being dicks for no reason. I know you didn't ask me, but I also spend some of my free time engaging with the endless torrent of vitriol that the internet spews at people. More often than not when confronted the most angry, and senseless comments come from people that have had bad days and were venting online. In other cases there are people that will follow up their original hate by doubling down. In that case I accept they have a differing opinion as bid them good day, because I don't think I am gonna change anyones mind with a youtube comment.

I personally worked at Doordash. I stopped because we don’t get paid anything. As a driver we get a 5 dollar fee, then whatever tip. I almost never get tipped, and an order almost always take over an hour. That means I’m making less than 5 bucks an hour because I don’t get paid for the gas I use. Doordash makes all the money because they don’t have to pay their employees, at all.

@neoman44267 жыл бұрын
With Rob thinking Persona 5 was on PC, he was likely thinking of the controversy a couple months back where the PS3 emulator RPCS3 used some images from it in one of their progress reports and got told to take them down and not reference that it was playable. So it's "available" on PC if you "rip it yourself", and it's completely completable though there are some glitches still

At 1:24:25, Nick you’re wrong. If a hospital has an emergency room, they have to treat anyone who comes into it. There’s no such thing as a private ER that can turn patients away. The law is called EMTALA. Look it up before you speak from a stance of ignorance.

In theory at least... sure, they probably won't let someone bleed out on their staircase, but... If other people can always cut in line, are you really queuing?
@raaplexis29787 жыл бұрын
The Glorious Champion of all that is Good and Just Yes, even if people cut in line, you're still queuing, that's exactly what a queue is. And if you have the money, you should be able to skip ahead. If I have my life savings stored up as a fucking "in case of emergencies" situations, best believe I'm gonna pay top dollar for the best doctors and a jump to the front of the line. No way in hell I'm letting a useless welfare leech get treatment before my wife, my children, my family or myself. That's why private healthcare works better. It's more competitive and thus you can get better prices. I grew up when something as simple as getting a pair of glasses was, you walk in, get an appointment if they're busy OR get examined right away, pay $75 in cash and walk out. No you have sit in sometimes a month or longer queue for appointments and then have I have to still pay $100 co-pay, plus my monthly insurance cost. Fuck that. It's always the taxpayers of sound moral character who get shafted with left wing policies. This is one of the main reason for the downfall of the working and middle class. Now you have unemployed and upper class, the working class has all but been annihilated with globalisation, technological progression and socialist policies.

@raaplexis29787 жыл бұрын
lucy Implying there is anything wrong with objective morality. If we are going to go forward through into the future with any form of morality, objective is far superior to subjective. But seeing as I don't recognize morals as they're entirely human created and don't actually exist, like human rights. I would point you towards Jean Francois Gariepy, he will show you the true path to rational moral nihilism.

Luckily for the majority, he's not going to remove any personal friend from his show because of comments. The potential loss of the vocalized minority is outweighed by his security of the majority who enjoy them or will stay regardless. If you really want them gone, stop watching. If it's a significant amount who do stop, it MIGHT change it. If it doesn't change, at least we won't have to read the constant entitlement of how he should run his own show.

It's stupid what they do discussing politics or world events as they do, people have a tendency to only focus on the negative and often completely overhype how bad it truly is.
