@@cb7846 sure there were impressive scenes like the battle scenes, Arya confronting/killing Littlefinger, Arya wiping out House Frey because "...tell them Winter came for House Frey," also Daenerys burning down Vaes Dothrak with all the Khals becoming Supreme Khaleesi of the Dothraki but the writing failed to weave all of it into the storyline. The death of Hordor for nothing, Daenerys' death ridiculous & for nothing, John Snow being revealed as Aegon Targaryen was the biggest bust if ever a big SO WHAT moment followed by the Night King's army bringing endless winter for....crickets.. nothing, the Prince that was Promised legend since the beginning of Aegon the Conquerors time for nothing. Everything written in the scripts led to nothing just flashes in the pants.
