Nothing is not truly Nothing? In truth, there is somethingness in the Nothingness to realise an inner awakening? If nothing is truly nothing, then there is no Subject in it at all - to be awakened and enlightened, right? Then why should Sakyamuni Buddha spent his whole life time teaching about Self Enlightenment?

Respect to Hyon Gak Sunim...but when I hear you saying that it is found in the mind, I beg to differ...perhaps we are just using different words, but it is found beyond mind, not in the mind. Mind is all the social bagage we accumulate. Beyond mind -- before thinking just like you said in your other talk -- that's where it is. Before thinking. And thinking comes from mind. So it is not found in the mind, but beyond the mind.
