The Mind beyond the time & space, thus it is timeless - neither has beginning nor ending. It's beyond causation Beginning & ending are concepts, conditioned by social conditionings!

What is the difference between mind and the spirit?
@cszabo8899
@cszabo8899 Жыл бұрын
Hello. The question itself does not arise in the context of these teachings (even though it arose for you.) "Spirit" is a figment of mind, and mind is not real. Granted, in the context of these teachings we refer to "mind" (i.e., thinking), but only provisionally. Since thoughts themselves are unreal, mind by default is also unreal; an unreal effect cannot arise from a real cause, therefore the apparent cause, "mind", is also unreal. Why? It's changeful. There is no reason to think or worry about "spirit." "Spirit" is not separate from spirit-thought, like a car-thought, or pizza-thought, or whatever other thought seems to appear and then slowly recede. The unreal mind is just a thought-machine, churning away all the time. Don't attach to it. What is "spirit" beyond your learned ideas, concepts, attitudes, and mental formations about "spirit"? It's nothing. It's just an idea that is bound up with language, and the place where no idea or language can go is the only thing of real interest here. Instead ask: WHAT is thinking? WHAT thinks that it thinks something? WHAT is worried about or otherwise concerned with the question of "spirit"? Investigate THAT. Find out where all this is coming from. The video series you're watching now is doing exactly that. Best regards!

Because of delusion, an ignorant treats real as unreal, unreal as real!

Tao Te Ching says - the TRUTH or TAO is inexpressible, indescribable or inconceivable! Un-nameable! However expedient names are used to name, describe or define it! Hence when ignorant people hear the TAO, they will laugh aloud! If not, then it is not the TAO!

Nothing is not truly Nothing? In truth, there is somethingness in the Nothingness to realise an inner awakening? If nothing is truly nothing, then there is no Subject in it at all - to be awakened and enlightened, right? Then why should Sakyamuni Buddha spent his whole life time teaching about Self Enlightenment?
