It's not about Tupac but it's weird that they still released the song when they knew what happend and he got mad because of that and the fact that he felt like they should've known that he was going to get robbed/shot since they are the "kings" of new york and can't nothing like this go on without their knowledge just the fact that he got called to make music there and people were waiting for him in the lobby how would they have known if someone didn't order this to happend.

Not just friends like two people who hang out sometimes either, Pac viewed Biggie as his little brother and even put him on the rap scene before he blew up, they were super close, it's just sad how things went... Not so sure on Pac but Biggie 100% died because of this beef...

“Who Shot Ya” was released on February 20, 1995. The release of the song took place while Pac was in prison. The truth is “Who Shot Ya” was recorded before November 1994. But Pac assumed it was about him because the song came out while he was in prison, 2pac felt like it was about him but it wasn't.

From what I’ve heard, this song was never intentionally directed towards Tupac. But coincidentally this song dropped right when Tupac got shot. Then Tupac believed Biggies boys shot him. Which lead to a rivalry between Biggie and Pac.
@theruggedindoorsman
@theruggedindoorsman Жыл бұрын
This wasn’t a diss song; Biggie made this song just as a song. Tupac KNEW who shot him (Haitian Jack, Tutt and Jimmy Henchmen), they were the co-defendants in his rape trial. They were dangerous thugs who used to extort hip hop celebrities in the 90’s. Biggie was Tupac’s friend and warned him about hanging with them. The “beef” was the fact that Suge Knight hated P Diddy and Tupac took up the beef because Suge bailed him out of prison.

People this was NEVER a song about PAC. Please let’s clear this up. “Long Kiss Goodnight” has a lot of subliminals about PAC like “Blood flood your Dungarees “ because PAC wore them a lot. The “ Laugh now cry later” was a reference to Pacs tattoo. “Slugs missed ya I ain't mad at'chya” is self explanatory because of PACs song “I ain’t mad at cha”. There are other subliminals in that track as well. But “Who Shot Ya” was NEVER about PAC. It was recorded prior to PAC getting shot at Quad Studios. What got the whole “East VS WEST “ rivalries going was the media.

I think this song was just bad timing & people read into it what they wanted to be about but like you got excited cuz they kept saying ready to die that's actually in the name of his album I'm the Tupac fan he died on Friday the 13th 1996 two days before my birthday. But when it comes to his death I don't believe in any of these conspiracies. I think it was simply he got in it with a gangster who retaliated & got caught slippin loosing his life😢

They wasn't originally for Pac but Puffy released after Pac was shot which was really bad timing and you can here Puffy saying "95" dating the song and saying "Eastcoast", Pac (a rapper that always rep Bay area) took it as it was for him. Being that Biggie and Puffy were in the building, Puffy was with the actually master mind of Pac, it can only be taken as meaning that.
