It’s hilarious how people keep hating / sleeping on ND based off their history of losing in the playoffs.. well Marcus Freeman is an aggressive coach and recruits absolute ballers unlike Kelly did at ND. Keep living in the past casuals. ND is the real deal.

I think that Greg and David Pollack had it right when David was on Greg's podcast. The playoff is going to be all about match-ups. There are going to be upsets and wild games. Notre Dame is pretty good at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Should give them a chance against anybody.

The way everyone is playing ... they have as good a shot as anyone. I will say they look alot bigger, faster, and more athletic lately vs the 2020 and older Brian Kelly teams. I dont think its fair to compare a team in 2024 to 2020 when not one player or coach is the same like alot of people are doing.

I hope but take what Freeman says with a grain of salt. According to Freeman, Howard Cross was supposed to be back for the Army game 2 weeks ago. He was in uniform but didn't play even though ND really needed him as the DL was getting no pressure on the USCC QB causing us to blitz too often & leaving the DBs on an island.

We need a healthy Jeremiah Love to succeed in the playoffs. No doubt Jadarian Price is a suitable backup & Aneyas Williams can give Price a breather now & then, but Love can change the complexion of a game in a heartbeat as he is, without a doubt, NDs best player on offense.

I think ND being a cold climate team will do well at home games. Once they go on the road against a warmer climate team in a dome (Natty game), they won’t fare as well.

If Freeman does leave, I hope we get Tom Herman. He has been a good coach with good teams. I know with Florida Atlantic it wasn’t good. But Texas and Houston, he did awesome. Shouldn’t have been fired by Texas.

OVerrated. I would say they are guaranteed first round losers, but the committee will pair them with Boise St, or SMU, or some other chump team. ND will be out by second round.... unless that get that coveted #5 slot. That slot allows a weak team to advance 3 rounds.

Just say you haven't seen them play. Because if you think they're just some scrub team, lucky to be where they are, then you are either completely ignorant of football or simply haven't watched them. Because it seems to me that they completely destroyed teams that gave other teams, ones you likely think are much better than ND, all they could handle, and more. ND beat Georgia Tech 31-13 in Georgia.. it took UGA 8 OTs and help of the refs to beat them.. ND also beat 3 teams in the top 15 overall Football Power Index (A&M, Louisville, USC) ND beat A&M by the same amount as Texas beat them.. Irish have beaten 10 bowl eligible teams which is more than any other team in the country.. they also travel more than any other team in college.. they’re the real deal and nothing like they were under the Brian Kelly era. This team can legit dominate anyone. Casuals keep on hating lol

They scheduled Miami, but Miami backed out right before the season began. They have 4 wins over ranked teams, played the most bowl.eligible teams in the nation, 8, and won the most, 7. Beat the living daylights out of a Georgia Tech team that beat Miami and just took Georgia to OT, losing by 2.
