As a big guy (6'4" 325lbs) I really like this as a river option! Currently have a Titan 13.5 which I love, but I don't think it will hand the shallows well lol. The U10 looks perfect for it!

Thanks for the walkthrough! I'll be picking up my U10 from you guys this Thursday and I can't wait! I do have a question though - what length of paddle would you recommend for the U10? I'm a bigger dude at 6ft, and I've heard people throw out anything from 250cm to 290cm, so not sure what would work best.

Yes it does. It will also utilize the transducer retract system used on the Unlimited 12.5

Enjoy your videos :I’m not interested in adding power. How does it perform in moving rivers (ie Buffalo/Mo Ozark floats- I’m more of a floater who likes to fish vs fishing first) is seat too high for that use?

Sorry if this seems very random or OCD but did Nucanoe do different deck mat designs for the U10? I watched your walkthrough and video and then TG Canoe and Kayaks walkthrough and noticed the deck mat strips in the back where you would put a crate or blackpak seem slightly different. In your video they seem just a bit wider but end short of the back hatch with a curved angle inward at the stern. In TG and Canoe and Kayak the deck strips look a little thinner, extend all the to the very back where the hatch is and have a rounded angle outward at the end.

Just got on the Nucanoe website and even they have alternate images. The main U10 pictures all have the longer ones all the way to the back hatch, but if you go to "accessories" and "decking kits" the U10 basic kit outlines look like the shorter one from your video :) LOL

Not at all. The Flint is primarily a river kayak. This is simply an Unlimited in a smaller package. Easier throw and go and maybe for someone who doesn't need all the room in a 12.5 foot kayak. It could handle a river but is primarily for flat water or slow moving river.

Coming to the expert for this. I have own 10 Kayak. I am 5/8 175. I started with 14ft Necky Sea touring Kayaks. I have 4 today. All of them are a bit of a comprimise. Today I bass fish in Florida. Slow moving water, Large and small lakes. I have a pedal kayak by Enjoy the bay 10. I have a Jackson Kuda 12. A sit in side throw and go Pelican fishing kayak 10 ft with the lawn chair seat. I also have an infaltable Aquaglide. I like to paddel the 12.6 Kuda but in the high posistion it is very tippy. I can stand but only for emergencys. The Enjoy at 10 ft feels cramped. I can stand. It pedals nice but really not great for fishing gear. I have 2 on a trailer for the wife and friends. The Pelican is great but only for small bodies of water. It also is slow at 10 ft and cramped. I was spoiled by that 14ft Necky. That thing moved.I often need to get off the water fast when storms come in. So I now have the Kuda up for sale. It is sooo close but not excatly what i need in stablitiy. I am looking at Nucanoe and Kaku kayaks. I want to sit high and be stable standing. Both can add pedals. Both can mount engines. However I have a bass boat so not high on the list to power. I see the Unlimited the Prusuit and now the u10. The Prusuit has the nice rod holders. Looks alot like the Kuda. Does not seem to have a very high seat and wow that is long. The Unlimted is shorter but seem like it would a bit much to paddel (not fun). It looks more like a 2 person kayak. The U10 looks like it could be a better fit. I can demo them local. But to be honest. I really only start to feel the way a kayak works after some long days on the water. They all feel pretty good for 30 mins. So if you could have only one for the water i fish. Which would it be. I will ask you to comment on the Kaku Zulu since it is not one your familar with.

I'm familiar with Kaku I'm just not a fan of them to be honest. The Pursuit is going to give you the speed you are looking for but the Unlimited series will give you the space you need. The 10 foot Unlimited will not track (straight line paddle) as well as the 12.5 footer but it is manageable and lighter.

I have been watching Aliex's video's and it seems like it checks all the boxes. The hardware looks better then anything I have seen. Where are you seeing it lacking? Not being US made is a negitive. You have to like the look. But is it basicly a blank canvas. Loaded with tracks.

@@stephenbeaver2035 just personal preference and customers feedback. Very cheaply made and foreign plastics are not made as durable. Lack of support on issues that may come up is another problem
