Thanks Tim, the Risk /reward based on ATR is working very well , i appreciate the result on EUR/CHF for the second half, this is a good way to increase the reward.

I have recently found your channel and love what I’ve heard so far... including using your R:R management. Can’t wait to see what questions get asked. And, thanks for posting and explaining your charts.

Thanks again Tim. I have been trying a 1:1 ratio (stop loss = 1 x ATR) since I am using a very small account size. Increasing my stop loss to 1.5 x ATR means I can only trade a very small amount and keep the loss within 2% of my account size. As I am following your trades I can compare your results to mine to see if I am disadvantaged by using the smaller stop loss. I hope you get sufficient responses so that we can "ask you anything."

I use 2*ATR as SL and 2*ATR as TP on the first half. Then set break even on the first take profit. It is because i am swing trading, not pattern trading.

Wanted your opinion on one thing...we tend to follow PSAR for stop on the second position....wanted you opinion regrading PSAR at the time of entry...do we require to assure that PSAR is appropriately placed....that is below the price for long trade or above for short trade.

Hi Tim, what is your suggestion for someone new wanting to use the ThinkOrSwim platform and follow your trades? Is there also a video (live or recorded) that shows your setups in a live trade?
@SaiBhanu64 жыл бұрын
I now watched a few more of your videos in this subscription channel. I'm trying to understand how to setup my ThinkOrSwim platform to use your indicators (100SMA, 20EMA, 14ATR, and Vol20MA). Besides that, I'm also lost as to how one enters a trade with your suggested ideas. Meaning, do I need to know some programming language or buy/get familiar with some tool where I can enter your trade parameters and it will automatically get me into a trade? If not, how do I determine which days/times I should be creating orders manually? Please help me understand. Thank you.

@@SaiBhanu6 These should be done manually-- you can do learn more here kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWfdh3-jrrV_Z9E
