Yep, I remember the same dread the first time the Digimon X did its whole song and dance digivolution at 3am, unlocking library slots, re-rolling for the day etc. the closest I’ve ever come to violence against a Digivice 😅 EVERYTHING gets muted before bed to avoid such things 👌🏻

Oh, I did not catch that lock on Dinomon’s design. Nice detail!! His partner would love that. Ryutaro, I think is the name. He’s an adult and lifelong Digimon fan. Ryutaro definitely would have the original v-pets from his childhood. (You can’t possibly relate, right? lol) He actually is on the novel side of things. Chapters 3.1 and 3.2 debut Ryutaro and his partner.

I've never messed with the mini before, but it seems very similar to the Tamagotchi Minis (before they switched over to the Nano style with 14 billion different collabs). There's no mini game on them, right? It's just food and pills?

@@_martymon it’s got training, but it’s just the button bash charge up. I think that’s a fair comparison tbh. Nice as a suuuuper casual companion, but really it feels more like an accessory than a true Digimon device in my opinion 🤷‍♂️
