Fum fact : i never got the luxury or honor of gerting to huy/own a digimon vpet until this year. My friend sold me 1 of his DM20 vpets ( purple translucent with green accent ) and im super beat up over how impossible it is to get a Digimon color vpet. Thats the type of voet ive been waiting for since i first learned of a digimon vpet back in the early 2000s. I hope ill find at least 1 in color soon. I cannot find any that would be truly helpful on their own. My only goal atm is to gind 5 different vpets so i can unlcok the secrets in my current vpet. Also if anyone doesnt like me calling the vpets digivices then start a petition for the people to make more digivices again. I need a D Ark and a D3 and a D Terminal. I have literally nothing and its depressing 🙏

It’s so funny you mentioned HMV! That’s where I got my Vital Bracelet BE yesterday for half the price on line!! The device is amazing, I love it already! The scope of possibility for it are massive!!! I cant believe they are just ending the run on it. The NFC battle mode it’s pure genius! Imagine Pokemon Go where you get items from tapping NFC devices! That would be so good. This is not just a missed opportunity but also a massive blunder for adventure gaming in general. No other virtual pet gets you out of the house. Gutted.

Is there a reason why you can't digivolve again? is there like some resource you need to spend to digivolve? Also, ngl, these v-pets look really cool, especially as a person who grew up playing a LOT of Digimon World like me. I can see that game had SO MANY REFERENCES TO THOSE V-PETS, like the word "Battle" flashing on the screen when you start a battle, or the icons of the digimon when they get flattened, or even the sound effect that plays when you start a fight. They were all taken from the v-pets.

After seeing this I just imagine Tai shaking his digivice like a maniac every time he needs to make his Agumon warp digivolve to WarGreymon

So they basically made a cool online multiplayer for the v-pets.

what we need for the vital bracelet series is a personal way to store and battle outside of the device similar to the apps, something like a digivice computer.

Imagine if they made a brick vpet that had a way to but a dim card in and the digimon went from BE sprite into vpet sprite that would be cool but it’s probably never happening

I re-watched the first Digimon movie a few days ago and that power outage was spooky AF with your digimon evolving at the same time. I've been away for a while, glad to see this channel alive and well. Growing, even. What more can I say that everyone else hasn't? Update, they added more digivices, more quests and patron is now closed. But game is still going and i came 3rd in last nights friday night fight club (6th 3rd place finish🎉🎉🎉🎉)

The vital bracelet BE was a great device but without the app it is truly dead, until fans come up with a way to revive battles. The vital bracelet/vital hero are the superior ones for me now...again. Because the VS DIM keeps the device relevant, you may have to do in person battles but at least it is better then nothing.

When they charge as much as for the latest Tamagotchi's for some of these i expect a bit more effort and functionality than a basic 90s Vpet we already have a ton of those and their remakes. Where is the Wifi/Bluetooth battles? or the slightest sign of progress, new features, game play or any shred of ambition? -We made the exact same thing we did in the 90's but now with double the price! Cheers and money please. The V/BE bracelet was a step in the right direction followed by a massive total brain fart. Who wants a Vpet without proper game play or interaction but replaced with half arsed fitness features and dependent on a borked app that barely function and nobody asked for? It's like asking for more Mario games and getting Mario teaches typing for Christmas levels of disappointment.

I'm with you all! I think the collabs are cool, but I really don't want Digimon to fall by the way side. I hope these collabs encourage others to try v-pets, which then in turn will fuel new Digimon stuff. But we'll see! @8:53 I totally agree about VB sprites on a brick. I modded mine to have all VB Sprites and didn't even finish a full line. It just didn't feel right. Great vid! Love the chin waggin vids. they can at least make the app able to battle random Digimon offline so that we can still play with our Digimon thru vital bracelet arena.

For me, I really like vital bracelet sprites ported into any digivices. I appreciate the looks more than the old school 16by16. But love em both.

I've had my Zubamon DM20 for ages, and I only filled out the library sometime earlier this year xD About the Vital Bracelet, I always felt the BE wasn't so much a digimon device as it was something with a digimon sticker on some of the memories. I definitely prefer some parts of the original vital / Digivice-V, but both are still fun in their own ways

I think the VB sprites work well on the Brick. Plus, with the Close-Ups on the new Digivice, we could be that much closer to a color DigimonX. Hopefully, they will fix the "preorder" nonsense before then..

I think a good crossover would be Zoids x Digimon
