Come to Washington DC! They have a six-line metro system called WMATA that goes through Virginia, DC, and Maryland! The six lines oldest to newest are: The Red (RD) Line from Glenmont to Shady Grove, The Blue (BL) Line from Downtown Largo (originally called Largo Town Center) to Franconia-Springfield, The Orange (OR) Line from New Carrollton to Vienna-Fairfax-GMU, The Yellow (YL) Line from Mt. Vernon Sq-7 St-Convention Center to Huntington, The Green (GR) Line from Greenbelt to Branch Av, and The Silver (SV) Line from Downtown Largo (originally called Largo Town Center) to Ashburn (original terminal was Wiehle-Reston East). Other stations were renamed, too. They were: North Bethesda (originally called White Flint), West Falls Church-Virginia Tech (originally called West Falls Church-Virginia Tech-University of Virginia), Tysons (originally called Tysons Corner), NoMa-Gallaudet University (formerly known as New York Av-Florida Av-Gallaudet University), and Hyattsville Crossing (originally called Prince George’s Plaza).

Here’s a suggestion for continuing from that point. Try taking the B to 161st St. change for the 4 and take it to Kingsbridge Rd. The Kingsbridge Armory is an extremely distinctive landmark and it’s literally right by the station. You can’t miss it and you don’t have to do any real walking except to walk around it. It’s the building that Mark Messier and Sarah Hughes wanted to change into the Kingsbridge national ice Center several years ago..

On Saturdays, Inwood has one of the best farmer's markets in the city at Isham Street bet. Cooper and Sherman, it's a great scene to check out. And the real beauty of Inwood Hill Park is walking up the hills or even better through the rock/stone steps or trails and over to the west side where there are huge boulders you can sit on high above the Hudson River. There are also native Indian caves along the trails as the forest part of the park is the original forest from before Dutch colonization. And you can also see the spot, Shorakapok Rock where Manhattan was sold to the Dutch by the Lenape Indians. But getting up into the forest is the best part of Inwood Hill Park. When you leave the park by Dyckman Street, cross the street and you enter Fort Tryon Park another incredible park with the best views of the Hudson. It's the largest park in Manhattan after Central Park and a must visit.
@raphytejadax25 ай бұрын
you also could’ve gotten off at 190th street and taken the elevator up to the top half of fort tryon park and gone to the cloisters museum. that area has hidden gems everywhere and then leaks into riverdale which has even more

A great episode again I expected nothing less thank you for sharing. I would also like to say how hard would it be for Metro to place signs at the closed exits and entrances that shows the way to ones that are open? That would be an awfully scary thing for someone who's not from New York. Also I've been using a powered wheelchair for about 10 years now and was planning on visiting New York but from what I see it's not a very handicap friendly place especially the subway i'm told that only 3% of subways are accessible to wheelchairs and most of the entrance to the trains themselves have a huge gap between the platform and the train. That is very sad for people like me

Idea: NYC Subway Uno! (Like the card game) How it works is whatever number you put down is the number train you ride, or the train you have to transfer to. (8 & 9 cards do not count as 8 & 9 lines are discontinued) If one puts down a reverse, you have to go transfer to the opposite direction train. (if the station is transferable) If one puts a skip card, you skip stops. If one draws two, they have to pay the fare 2 times. If one draws four, they have to pay the fare 4 times. *ONLY ONE DRAW 2/4 CARD A TURN.* If one puts a wild card/rule customization card, whatever color you choose is the color line you go on. For example: Red = 7th Avenue Yellow = Broadway Green = Lexington Avenue Blue = 8th Avenue Any other numbered card you put you have to go back to the number trains. Whoever wins first is the one to leave the train.

Hey Suprtoe! I was in New York a week ago (exceeded my expectations) and I had a blast. I have a challenge for you, which I don’t think anyone else has ever done (except me), which is to speedrun every single line in Lower Manhattan! The rules would be to take every line (BELOW HOUSTON STREET) at least once. I didn’t include the 6 Express or Z trains (mainly because I wasn’t going to wake up at 6:00 AM purely to take a train) but the challenge depends on the stamina of the partaking challenger! My time came out to 2 hours and 32 minutes. I think it would be a great video idea for a WTN :) Cheers -Crushed
