Wednesday: Aug 23, 2023 This Prayer is one of the most powerful songs ever sang. It gets me EVERYTIME I hear it. 😭 I'm a crybaby, and just recently, I had the opportunity to see the Mighty O'Jays perform in Atlanta, GA, with Jonny Gill and The Whispers. And they truly blessed my heart and left me with a treasured memory forever. My Aunt Mary hosted a weekend full of fellowship and love for all of her Nieces. We came from all across the Country. This show was a part of the many outings she and my cousin Trice planned for us. Job well done❣️ My Family lost so many love ones in a short time span. To include Cousin Debra (Aunt & Dad 1st Cousin), my Grandmother (94) Emma Lee Yates of Memphis, TN (My Aunt and Dad Mom), my Uncle (My Aunt Husband &Dad Brother-n-Law), Neighbor (Aunt Close Neighbor), Uncle Chester son, My Cousins (Reco, Remal, April, Cheeks, Sharon) and Uncle Sister (My Aunt Sister-n-Law), and 8 to 10 Church members. Not to forget my Uncle (Aunt and Dad Brother) passed away just recently. It's been hard for my family. Please forgive me for the names that are missing. But my point is, my Family has gone through a lot. And so when we attended the show in ATL and they sang this song, I cried right there. 😭 Through it all, WE ARE STILL BLESSED. And I pray for every performer from that night. Especially Mr. Eddie Levert and Mr. Walter, as they both continue to recover from Covid. May GOD be with you individually and collectively.
