Superb video. Just stumbled onto your channel - what a find! As a semi-technical Bedrock player this stuff is invaluable. Well presented, clear, detailed and cleverly edited, look forward to seeing many more like this. Personal request - have been trying to make a good wood farm with semi-auto sapling harvest and want a way of breaking as many leaves as possible from a double row of side by side trees, have tried double piston extenders but can't tile them effectively, have also thought of flying machines but redstone is huge - I imagine you'd be all over this type of thing.

realistically I would say in the chain of observers, the first 2 each take 1 pulse, because the next one down the line is detecting the state change of the observer from resting to observing, not the redstone pulse out the back of it. so the first one activates, the second on tick later sees the first one, the third one see the second on the 2nd tick, and then the 3rd takes 3 ticks to create it's pulse. It's more likely happening that way, but the results are the same.

Edit: Just realized you don't shear sweet berries.... I've been using shears this whole time thinking that's how they were picked XD I thought I was having an issue with the way I was using observers in my circuit.... *feels super smart*

i have a query: i made a asugarcane farm with a row of pistons with observers on top connected with redstone dust. i put a minecart with hopper below and to activate it when sugarcane grows to 3 tall i placed an observer behind the first piston observing the redstone dust above connected to the pistons in front. all pistons fire except the first one. the one with an observer behind it for cart. i dont know if you can get it but any solutions?

Actually, there is a little thing u dont know about updating observer with chest, if u remove a block on a chest inventory, it will detected by observer, u can check it by placing a hopper above it and under it, and put the item from the top hopper, then see what happen

Yes and no, not on there own as they are too quick but with some delay yes they can... I wouldn't rely on that mechanic though as it's EXTREMELY temperamental in bedrock edition 😅

Sadly, I still haven't figured out how to make a working automatic sugarcane farm yet. I put the observer on top of the piston and put redstone dust on a block directly behind the piston, but the piston won't activate when the sugarcane reaches the observer. I've flipped the observer both ways and still no luck. Please help.

Chaz Howell really!? what Minecraft are you on? Sugar cane growing and breaking will always be detected by the observer... weird. Maybe try retrying how the redstone gets to the piston, could be that... hmmm 🤔😅

Errmm I'm not really sure what to cover then... Perhaps try using observers out wherever you can, for example in my vid when I speak about monostable circuits, actually try them out :) Honestly you will learn a lot faster trying it yourself :)

I've made a faster version of that 3x3 piston door bottom chunk. Also observers can detect hoppers being powered. I've used that a lot.

Can you explain to java players how redstone works because even mumbo jumbo played bedrock and he was super confused with how redstone works. It would help alot of people.
