Just want to clear up and clarify a few things with the approval of Adrian since my last comment got deleted. Melinda did not ask any of us to come over when he was coming over. Of course the roommate was there because she lived there and she had already been hanging out with her friend. That was the reason for them to already be in the apartment. They both were aware he was coming over. I- however, did not. The set time for him to come was delayed due to me showing up & she didn’t want him to come in while I was there because she knew I’d do something about it. We didn’t all collectively make plans to go to a club. I had went out and the roommate drove me. The friend came with us because it was the roommates friend and not really Melinda’s. Also, this part makes it seem like everyone was gone for most of the night, which isn’t true. They came and left twice and stayed in the apartment for a bit of time in between. As for the reasons to why they left her alone, I can only think that they felt comfortable enough to leave her there with him. Melinda wasn’t in this big abusive relationship with him. sure, they had their arguments but it wasn’t physically abusive (as far as I know) Let’s all not lose sight of the fact that there is only one single person to blame in this situation and not nitpick and the “what should have or could haves” I appreciate anyone who has sent me a message on my last comment sharing their condolences and heartfelt messages. Thank you 🤍

Sorry for your lost, and I agree with you, blaming other people is totally pointless as if her friends could have known. It's easy to says you should have done something different knowing what happened, but when you're in such a situation, it's impossible to know. Blaming anyone else but him is kinda ridiculous. I hope her family and friends are doing better now.

Another good thing for people who truly know leaving will put themselves in danger is to pack up and leave town without letting their abuser have a chance to stop or follow them. I know that's easier said than done but you have to do what you have to do to survive. There's battered women shelters everywhere that you can just go to and hide out in that situation

This particular case was drawn out exhaustively with a great deal of media coverage. Upon seeing the episode banner I knew who it was. His face, instead of hers, was always in the media. I can't imagine how that made others close to her feel. No punishment is enough for this narcissistic pos. Condolences to the family and friends. xo p.s. The Bandidos case would be full of 'thrills' to be sure. I live in Waterloo: home of the Blackberry, and the twin city of Kitchener.

This is a lesson to other young people, when things go sour with a boy/girlfriend and you break up, do not meet up with that person ever again, especially if you had to get a restraining order against the person. You can just be hurt if you and your family are lucky, but most of the time you will be killed and your family depraved of you presence.

I'll say it once again, you're such a good narrator and your videos are of such great quality that sitting down to eat dinner and watch your newest video feels just like sitting down to watch a tv series you've been watching for years. True crime videos were something that always interested me but I never dared say I was a fan of watching those as many of them are not always correct and more about the drama than the actual case. With how professionally and respectfully you handle these causes, like a well put together documentary but in KZbin format, it's safe to say I am a huge fan and will continue watching has a I have for quite a while now, truly that one channel I am sticking with for always showing good content of great quality.

Adrian, to hear you speak about Melinda, along with the other victims of violent crimes, made me tear up. The amount of respect, dignity, compassion, empathy and honor that you give to each victim is beyond phenomenal. I can’t imagine how these types of cases truly affect your own mental health, and I hope that you are taking care of your mental health, as well as your physical health. Side note here: I think that you are going to be a very, very awesome father (once you decide to have children). You exude compassion, a strong loving nature, a very caring soul, a heart made out of purest gold, a warm soul, a sense of adventure, intelligence, and kindness. Whenever you do decide to have children, they’ll be so immensely proud of having you as their dad. You’ll definitely teach them that only hard work and study will help them grow, and be productive members in society, but you’ll spoil them with everything you have. You’re an amazing cat daddy, and I’m sure, if your cat had the opportunity and ability to speak, your cat would agree. This piece of 💩 should NEVER see the outside of prison walls again. It takes A LOT of time and energy to continuously stab a person 47 times, and that’s overkill. Melinda suffered greatly at the hands of someone who couldn’t accept the fact that she no longer wanted to be with him. This piece of 💩 was taunting the police while he was on the run, and he thought he could outsmart them as well. Thankfully, he made the mistake of attempting to purchase counterfeit money from the deep web. What he said to Melinda’s mom showed just how depraved he is, and how he blamed her for her daughter’s death was stomach turning. Too bad he couldn’t be charged with being a total asswipe, and for what he had said to Melinda’s mom. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to Melinda, her family and friends. She was taken away from everyone who loved her unconditionally. She could have easily became the next Vidal Sassoon, and have celebrities demanding her expertise with hair and makeup. I believe that she’s doing magnificent haircuts for the angels in Heaven. I hope that she’s resting peacefully in her eternal slumber.
